Dating over 30 in Bournemouth?

Hi all!

I'm a freshly 30 year old woman and moving to Bournemouth for grad school from the US later this year. I've been living in Los Angeles for the past decade or so and haven't really experienced a smaller city's dating scene.

What does the over 30 dating scene over there look like?

I'm a bit heavy as well, and while that's not been a problem here in LA I'm a little worried about it thinning out my dating pool over in Bournemouth 😅

Handmade crochet jumper

Hello everyone

I wasn’t really sure where to post this, but I made this crochet jumper, it took me over 3 weeks to finish.

I lowkey (highkey) don’t want to sell it:,)

It’s made from a mix of very high quality yarns mainly wool, alpaca wool, drops air, cotton, and some acrylic

I actually made it sitting on Bournemouth beach so the colours I used associate me with living here:)

Unfortunately am a little low on funds this month so I’m giving up ma baby
It’s really soft and cosy

Life at bournemouth

I am moving to Bournemouth for university next year and I have a few questions. is there much of a youthful nightlife? what’s it like living in bournemouth and more of a niche one, is there much of a skateboarding scene there? I do appreciate any help people can give me as I am slightly worried about Bournemouth being a bit shit (not my thoughts just other people’s opinions).

Anyone else struggling to actually find out who is standing in the local elections today? All of the websites you put your postcode into are telling me there's no elections in my area, but I know there are because I received a polling card.

I've tried whocanivotefor.co.uk, electoralcommission.org.uk and even the BBC website and all of them say the same thing.

Ideally I'd like to look into the candidates first rather than just turning up and voting based on party. If it helps I'm in the East Cliff area.

Does anyone know why there is an RB Salzburg coach driving around the BCP area?

My friend noticed it driving down Alma Road a couple of months ago, and I’ve seen it driving down the Grove twice this week alone, which obviously begs the question; What on Earth is it doing around here?

It looks like it’s a coach that would definitely be used to take the players to games, rather than just a random coach with RB Salzburg branding, and it had a Red Bull logo in the windscreen where you’d expect to see the destination or coach number.

So again, why is it here in little old BCP?
