Metro should direct card to fare gate payment via phone NFC

It's so painful to stand in a line, recharge that stupid card and then take the card out to every time you entry or exit the metro (and sweat every time searching it in your bag or pockets as it is so easy to loose)

You can't even put that stupid in the purse and use it becoz other debit/credit cards get in the way and the gates can't read it

It would be much better direct to use phone upi tap and go or they let google pay use the virtual NCMC

All other "non tech hub" metro cities in India have it while we are lagging behind

[Namma Metro] Where is the location of the Nagawara station on the blue line?

While the pink line station is very visible and in much more advance stages of completion, the location of the blue line station isn't clear. Is it going to be located in between the flyover? Or is it going to be far away from the pink line station and be a bad interchange?

Why is electrification system a hurdle for Bengaluru Metro's Hosur extension?

Namma Metro, note the third rail

Chennai Metro, note the OHE

For the proposed extension of the Yellow line of Namma metro, one of the problems that is usually discussed is the different electrification systems used by BMRCL and CMRL. But logically speaking, since Bangalore metro is much larger, and Bangalore is the larger city, doesn't it make sense for the extension to use Bangalore Metro electrifications, and other technical specifications? Hosur metro still doesn't exist and it would be make more sense to adopt third rail?

From when did BMTC get these new JBM ac electrics??! They look good from the outside, but seats are very inferior to the new Switch AC electrics.

Handy metro schedule?

On the metro, I only ever need to travel between two specific stations. I would like a metro timetable for both of these stations for regular days as well as Sundays/public holidays.

I use Google Maps currently, but it's too much of a hassle to keep inputting the same thing.

BMTC is issuing new ETMS

The new tickets issued by bmtc's new ETMs. Miss the old tickets with the logo. They looked better than this. This might just be a shortage of those rolls so a generic one was used.

It is hopeful tht the ncmc cards getting support might happen soon.
