Great nostalgia for the old days

Sometimes I feel like we are in the midst of a great longing for the 2013-2014 Athletics and remain loyal to the team out of loyalty to nostalgia.

Atlético was a team with a fighting spirit and big names who brought great passion and love to the game on the field every time.

This season I'm just sad to see Atleti and still for ever.

Buying jersey from Atletico Store

I was just thinking of buying an Atletico home jersey. I have a few questions, when I go and see the Atletico store, I see 2 types of jerseys, Atletico home jersey and Atletico home match jersey. I was thinking of buying the just home one as its cheaper. So my question is, how is the quality of the jersey different from the home match one?

Another question, so live in Canada (MB), how many days on an average does it take for the jersey to be delivered like do they have Canadian warehouses where they keep the jerseys or is it shipped internationally??

Sorry if this has been posted a lot.

It hurts knowing my goat is leaving Spain without winning a league title, a UCL, or a CDR with us.The CDR loss hurts even more than the UCL because that was the one we were supposed to win. Griez deserved at least one domestic title with us.

This one is going to hurt for a while. I will miss him in our shirt.

I feel so much pain

That’s all; I’m going to see Griezmann go out like this, in the most painful way; we didn’t play well but we should’ve had minimum one penalty and maybe that could’ve given Griezmann what he deserves.

On top of that the final, oh what a painful way to lose on penalties, to see Baena and Cardoso miss hurt me so much, and now here we are,

Atlético and Arsenal drew 1-1 at the Metropolitano in the Champions League semi-final first leg. The numbers favoured the home side. xG 2.22 to 1.50, 18 shots to 11, 52% possession, three big chances to two.

Arsenal took the lead through a Gyokeres penalty on 44 minutes after Hancko fouled him in the box following a turnover in Atletico's own half. Alvarez equalised from the spot on 56 after Llorente's shot hit Ben White's arm.

The second half belonged to Atletico. Simeone brought on Le Normand at half-time and the defensive shape tightened. Pubill pushed forward from right-back, Griezmann hit the crossbar just past the hour, Lookman had a clear chance at 74 saved by Raya, and Molina fired a long-range effort in stoppage time. The second goal never came.

Two penalty incidents dominated the refereeing narrative. Atletico's equaliser from a handball, and a reversed call in the 78th when Eze went down under Hancko's challenge. Makkelie initially pointed to the spot before overturning it after the on-field review. Arteta called it "completely unacceptable." Simeone questioned whether Hancko's first-half foul warranted a penalty in a semi-final.

Alvarez scored his 25th Champions League goal in his 41st appearance, the fastest Argentine to that milestone (Messi reached 25 in 42). But he was withdrawn at 77 minutes with a leg issue and is awaiting tests. His availability for the second leg is the biggest question heading into next week.

Koke and Cardoso matched Arsenal's midfield of Rice, Zubimendi and Odegaard. Ruggeri kept Madueke and Saka contained on his flank. Arsenal's defensive resilience, led by Gabriel, held firm under sustained pressure but they created little going forward after the break.

Arsenal remain unbeaten in this season's Champions League (13 games, 10 wins, 3 draws). Atletico are expected to rotate heavily for Valencia this weekend to keep key players fresh for the second leg at the Emirates. A genuine contest awaits in London.
