Pilgrimage completed

After a few years living in Stockholm, I finally did it. Not exactly the same vibe with the snow, but I like it.
Just when I was done taking my photos, 3 youngs girls from Japan arrived and were super happy that they found the place (lots of "sugoi!!!"). It was pretty obvious that we were all here for the same reason. I asked if they were here for Yorushika and it was like they saw a unicorn. Why would a random white dude in Sweden know about Yorushika?
I took a photo for them and went home with good memories and a photo to edit.
It was a good day!

About Abuku/Bubble MV

Is it just me or is this song strangely popular on YouTube. I mean, it‘s got 222k likes in just 6 days, more than Plover or Martian. If I remember correctly, the most recent MV that also received over 200k likes besides Bubble is Forget It. Is it due to YouTube algorithm or something else?

Bubble/あぶく is evoking something in me

This masterpiece has got me feeling multiple emotions at once, and I don’t know how to feel.

One second I’m headbanging along to the bass, next second I get hit with melancholy and feel like crying.

So many goosebumps every time I listen to it and I can’t stop. Please help.

How did you start learning electric guitar?

Hi, I’ve been listening to Yorushika for about 6 years now and I really love the instrumentals in every song. I’m thinking about starting electric guitar and I’m curious how everyone here started.

Did you start on acoustic first, or did you go straight to electric? Do you think starting on acoustic helped, or would you recommend beginners just start with the guitar they actually want to play?

I’d also love to hear your story, like what made you start, what your first guitar was, and what you wish you knew earlier. Thanks!

What guitar does n-buna use?

Hi, I’m trying to find out what guitar n-buna uses.

I’ve owned a Stratocaster before, but I’m not sure if that’s the closest option to his usual sound or look. Does anyone know what specific guitar model or type he mainly uses?

Evening Calm, Somewhere, Fireworks Cover

Question: How many people in this subreddit are musicians? I love playing J rock but it seems all the musicians around me are more western music centred since i live in a western country.

But anyway, nice little cover I did with a loop station

Opinion on Yorushika

Lately, I've been listening to Yorushika/n-buna a lot. I just want to ask you guys what do you get into your mind when hear Yorushika? For me it's summer. I like the way she emphasizes scent of summer in most of her songs and this makes me wonder how it really smells. Just listening to her in a hot sunny day relieves your soul, doesn't it?

Let me know what you guys like about her the most. And now that we are talking about summer, we gotta mention FIREWORKS(Doako X Kenshi Yonezu). I know it's going off-topic, but it's okay to have a discussion on it once in a while, right?

I swear I am going to learn to sing Yorushika even if it kills me

I’m an American fan, and right now the only song I can kind of reliably sing along to is Sunny. I don't want English covers, I want the real thing. Right now I’m working on A Loser Doesn’t Need an Encore, but it’s hard cus it’s so fast! Sunny and A Loser Doesn’t Need an Encore are my two favorites, but I want to reliably be able to sing a handful of Yorushika songs in the future.

Anyone here have the turntable? I'd appreciate some measurements for a 3D model!

I'm trying to make a 3D model of the Yorushika turntable. I'm wondering if anyone has one; if so, I would super appreciate if you could send over some measurements!

I'd love to share the model here when I'm done too :)))

Haven't really ever kept up with the lore, who are Amy and Elma?

Title pretty much says it all. What do those two characters... like, existing? add to Yorushika? Please help this dummy along

Left-Right Confusion is my favourite Yorushika music video.

Yorushika has a collection of amazing music videos dripping with creativity and artistic visions. From the cinematic Nautilus to animatic Howling At The Moon.

However, the one I find solace in has to be this one— Left-Right Confusion. A huge chunk of reason being the state of my life during the release of this mv was good. Despite that, the music video itself... It's immersive.

I like how there's no digital device (or any other "polluting items") in the scene. The room is filled with passionate objects. The piano, plants, cartography on the wall, blank canvas, the sea breeze and sunlight, the lady reading a book, the person drawing her, and the cat. They all present a scene in which I find calmness and warmth.

I love the song itself. My favourite bridge by them is in this song:

I would peel off my heart from my body bit by bit

/ And hand it to you, and you could have all of it. ...}

Wow.

At around 2:48, the scene becomes dull and gloomy, when the lady leaves to get some cat food for the cat. Rain drops drizzle outside, and the breeze blowing feels colder. This shows such a great detail to how lovers' can behave, and I love them for showing the emotions implicitly.

Then, the lady comes back to her seat, along with which the sunlight and the chorus enters again, too; progressing into the person's relief and comfort, that even I as a viewer could feel.

Finally, it concludes with the lady noticing (us) the person drawing her this entire time, with a playful peeking action. A minor thing, which I love is how in the very ending seconds, she looks outside yet again, and there— suis' vocals end the song in calm and silent fashion:

Your heart and my heart,

/ Would be as one forever, I believed.

Comfort song and music video, fr.
