Looking for writing buddy/accountability partner

Hey y’all! As the title suggests, I’m in the market for an accountability writing buddy! I am hoping to find someone for weekly check in’s, peer editing, hyping each other up, and just keeping everyone on track with their novels.

A little about me: I’m just starting a new dark fantasy, romance duology. I've started writing and have the goal of completing 1-3 chapters a week. I’m 25/F, love art, reading, and getting outdoors.

If interested, feel free to reach out!

Looking for someone to write a story with

Hey,

I come more from rp background despite having some solo writing projects but just the ability to write story with someone feels a bit more rewarding from me and more expansive. Which is why I'm looking for writing buddy/co-author not sure that is the correct word for it. I'm up for anything as long as it scratches my creative itch but I prefer more complex plots and 3-dimensional characters who feel real not just plot tools while still also doing this part but in more natural way. I'm more of a gardener kind of writer (grabbed that term from Geroge RR Martin) so hit me up if you feel the same. Here are some stories which I like and inspire me to give you what my taste is those are mostly games manga or anime but it's not like I won't mention a book:
- Orb on the movement of the Earth
- Attack on Titan
-Babylon
-Berserk
-Disco Elysium
-Omori
-Goodnight Punpun
-Dark Souls series/Elden Ring
-Song of Fire and Ice
-No longer human
-The Plague
-Brave New World
-The Trial
-Steins;Gate

Phantom of the Opera

Hello, everyone! I’ve been listening yet again to the POTO musical, and suddenly my passion for this story has been reawakened. And so has my writing muse.

So I come here looking for a nice POTO fan, that wants to write a nice, long story with me with these fabulous characters. I’m looking for someone who is acquainted with both the musical and the book(s) either Gaston Leroux’s version of Susan Kay’s. I don’t have a specific storyline in mind but I’m craving some sort of Modern Universe related story that is centered on our main characters.

I don’t ask for much for my writing partners other than they show sincerely, is a POTO fan and has a little experience in role playing. No newbies please and something very important, since I am 28, I would like for my partner to be at least 21.

My writing style is third person, past tense, can do novella length or a few lines, all depending on the context of the story. For this I would like if the other person and myself can double and shift hará tres if they story needs it so. I respond once or twice a day, but am available to talk OOC all day. My time zone is MST.

If you rad all the way to this point, please add in your DM if you prefer the musical or the books. Thank you for taking your time and reading this, I happily await your message!

Dark Fantasy Collab — Dual POV (Premise, not final work)

This is not the actual prose—just the premise and tone.

---

The world creeps to the edge of something irreversible—magic thinning, the familiar unraveling into something colder and less forgiving.

An aged mage climbs a ragged, overgrown path—roots breaking through stone, fallen logs slick with rot, the trail half-swallowed by the mountain. Along the cliffside, hidden in shadow and bone-white rock, an entrance opens into a temple long abandoned. The air shifts there. Thinner. Watching. Bat-like creatures nest in the hollow overhead, their movement more pulse than flight.

He descends.

The passage tightens into catacombs—stone stairs worn to fragments, then gone entirely, dropping into depths where light has never lived. Each level narrows further, pressing in, until the space itself becomes a threshold. He is forced to strip—robes, tools, symbols—everything that once defined him left scattered on dark rock. By the end, the tunnel is barely the width of a body. Breath short. Heat rising off his skin.

Seral, last of the mountain mages of Anok—keeper of river rites, once in service to the final Grand Master—has come to ask something that should not be asked. Not here.

He makes his plea.

There is an answer—but not in words.

He wakes in darkness.

No room to move. No leverage. Arms pinned. Breath shallow against unyielding walls. Obsidian—smooth, seamless. A sarcophagus with no markings. No history. No exit.

This is the cost. Or the test.

If he cannot break out, nothing changes. The world ends

He turns inward—what remains of his craft, stripped of ritual and instrument—and forces the obsidian to shift. Not to break, but to reflect. A surface. A signal. A reach beyond.

What answers is not of his world.

Someone else. Elsewhere. Uncertain. Burdened. Not a hero. Not prepared.

But connected now.

Seral has one chance to convince them.

---

What I’m looking for

A collaborator who:

- Writes with control and intention (strong POV, minimal exposition)

- Can sustain pressure and constraint (confined spaces, time tension, psychological weight)

- Builds character through action and consequence—not just backstory

- Works independently but can iterate and build off shared structure

---

Structure

- I’ll write Seral (first chapters + core arc)

- You take the counterpart POV

- We build toward convergence through the connection

---

What I need from you

- A writing sample (preferably tension-driven)

- Your take on the second POV (who they are, what they’re dealing with)

- Willingness to revise and tighten

- Consistency

If this aligns, send a sample and your approach to the counterpart character.

Thank you for taking a look.

Looking for people who wanted to help me write my story named DEAD MAN'S TRANSIT

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for fellow writers and artists to collaborate on a comic project I’ve been building, with the long-term goal of developing it into something much larger (possibly even an adaptation down the line if it ever reaches that point).

Synopsis:

Richard Munden, a 29-year-old data analyst whose only drive in life is corporate ambition, suddenly finds his dreams come crashing down when a train accident leaves him dead and he awakens in a decayed, supernatural version of New York, caught between life and death.

Declared an anomaly by Death herself, he cannot be claimed and exists in a state of neither living nor dead. To escape this condition, he must survive seven trials in Hell to regain life.

To do so, he must also navigate Hell’s nine vast bureaucratic circles, each ruled by a Warden. Every circle functions differently, shaped like distorted human systems, contract law, administrative limbo, punishment, memory, identity. No two are the same, and survival means constantly adapting to a new logic of power.

After meeting Lilith in an outlaw’s pub, a charismatic but unreadable succubus bound to the system through her own contract, he forms a deal with her. She agrees to guide him through Hell in exchange for temporary freedom.

With a group of outlaws, Richard moves through Hell’s machinery, learning to survive its rules, its people, and its contradictions. As they descend deeper through shifting circles and the ever-present Wardens who enforce them, one question begins to haunt them all: in a system designed to erase humanity, what does it truly mean to be alive?

Tone / vibe: Noir + existential fantasy, heavy religious symbolism mixed with corporate dystopia. Visually leaning toward surreal, ornate decay with strong art nouveau influence, beautiful, oppressive, and symbolic.

I’m looking for people who want to build something serious together. writers, artists, world builders, and anyone who’s interested in pushing this into a fully realized project with real long-term potential.

If that resonates with you, feel free to reach out.

(P.s these artworks aren't mine it's a moodboard for the series)

Also this is hugely inspired by Dante's inferno so I hope that helps :>
