Himachal, India.

I was not expecting that, my jaw hit the floor.

Edit- for details, see below

The accident occurred on a rather sharp turn, where the car veered off the highway, launched into the air, and fell into a deep gorge, which is reported to be around 200 meters deep. Based on the footage, the driver of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire lost control after what seems to be a tyre burst. After the loss of steering control, the airbags in the car seemed to have been inflated, which worsened the situation. Eventually, the car ended up falling into the gorge and reportedly caught fire upon impact, trapping the occupants inside.

What’s the hardest part about learning how to drive? (research for idea)

Hi everyone, I’m a college student doing research on how people learn to drive and what makes it stressful.

I’m trying to understand real problems new or anxious drivers face, especially things that GPS apps don’t really help with.

If you’re open to sharing, I’d really appreciate your honest answers to a few questions:

  • What was the hardest part about learning to drive?
  • When do GPS apps fail or confuse you?
  • What makes parking or lane changes stressful?
  • Did you ever wish someone could guide you step-by-step in real time while driving?
  • What mistakes do you still make sometimes?

I’m not trying to sell anything—I’m just trying to understand the real experience so I can design something useful.

Even short answers are super helpful. Thank you 🙏

This intersection is wild. The one day I didn’t park in those spots there to pick up my coffee. Stay safe out there!
