I'm just wondering if I could burn ISO files into DVD-RW discs and then actually play them in the Wii. Is it possibile? And if it is, are there some anti-piracy measures? Thanks in advance!

Im unsure of what I’m doing wrong but wii games refuse to show up but gamecube games play and run just fine. Im using a sd card to hold both games and app. Earlier re dark chronicles and rhythm heaven would show their icons but would both result into black screen. I used wbfs and and rvz files. Ofcourse using tiny wii back up to format them. Which is why gc games work just fine. Files for wii games are fine as they run on dolphin without issue. File name match with it being Rhythm Heaven Fever [SOME01] > SOME01.wbfs. I deleted them and used better files hoping for different results but remain just the same. Would appreciate any help i can get.

Only game I have modded is MKWii with CTGP, but I wanna get other games with mods. The thing is, I found nothing showing how to get the mods onto an actual console, only Dolphin.
was playing, controller 1 disconnected and didnt turn on so i had to turn off wii by the console power button, i load it back up and click start usb loader gx and after about 20 seconds of the normal start it loads the wii menu back and not usb loader home, ive tried 100 times and leaving it off for an hour and so on

i also dont think homebrew app is loading idk

I modded my wii a couple weeks ago, and had everything set up seemingly perfectly, games were running fine, I even set up GameCube games to be running perfectly well. I hadn’t used to console for about 2 weeks, cause I’ve been busy with other stuff, and when I came back every time I turn on usbloader gx, my screen goes black, I lose hdmi signal, and my controller stops working until I reset the console. The wii menu and homebrew launcher run fine, it’s specifically when I open usbloader gx or any games that run through it.
Does anyone know a potential solution? I wanted to play Mario kart with my girlfriend tomorrow now it’s not working.
Intenté liberar mi Wii que ya había liberado previamente, solo que como la abandoné por un tiempo y no tenía prácticamente nada decidí formatearla para volverla a liberar, pero siempre se congela momentos antes de entrar a la pantalla donde hay que presionar el botón 1 para poder seguir, y me pasa tanto con letterbomb, como con Wilbrand y str2hax, por favor si alguien sabe cómo puedo resolverlo me ayudaría bastante. Cabe destacar que ya he hecho todo lo posible que se puede hacer con la SD en los métodos que utilizan la s de cómo formatearlo o cambiar a otra SD y todo.
I tried to mod my Wii which had already been modded before, but since I hadn't used it for a while and it had practically nothing on it, I decided to format it to mod it again. However, it always freezes moments before entering the screen where you have to press the '1' button to continue. This happens to me with LetterBomb, Wilbrand, and str2hax. Please, if anyone knows how I can resolve this, it would help me a lot. It's worth noting that I've already done everything possible with the SD card in the methods that use one, such as formatting it or switching to another SD card and everything.
Hi I just found a Wii that I used to play when I was younger but when I took out the SD card inside I found old files from 2013-2014 and when I turned it on I found the homebrew chanel and cfg but when I started the software I got this error message. I'm sorry if I don't know anything about the Wii and if I violate any subreddit rule.
I have been trying to find one for a good while now...the only reliable source that has it is vimms lair and that doesn't work with what I'm trying to do (Wii U injects) for some reason. Has anyone got a good rom that'll work on real hardware (or wii U). Also needs to be PAL.

Hi, I've actually got a Wii u but my problem regards the vwii side. I was trying to play tony hawk pro skater 4 for the GameCube so I tried installing nintendont and the game. The game installed properly but as soon as I tried to play it, it would crash and send me back to the usb loader GX main page. So I decided to open nintendont to see what was the problem but as soon as I loaded in it would freeze and I could do anything but forcefully shut down the console. Then I tried uninstalling nintendont from the SD card and reinstalling it on my HDD (where I store my games) and after doing that nintendont has like disappeared. There is no trace on the homebrew launcher and when I try to run the wad it just takes me back to the Wii menu. I also tried uninstalling it from the usb and reinstalling it onto the SD card but still nothing. Please if anyone can help I'd be very thankful as I couldn't find anything on Google or YouTube.
No matter what I try, may it be reinstalling the cIOS, using an SD card or USB drive, it still kicks me the same error every time. I'm not sure what to make of it, so here's the error screenshot and the syscheck file that I ran. Hello! I've been trying to mod my RVL-001 Wii for a few days now but i cant get anything to work. I've tried 3 different 32 GB SDHC cards formatted to FAT32. I know my mac address is correct and I'm on version 4.3U. I extract the letterbomb and move just boot.elf and the private folder into the SD card but when i put it in the Wii, the SD card menu will glow blue but i cant find any mail and when i click on the SD menu it says "The device inserted is unusable" or something like that for all three cards. I honestly have no idea what im doing wrong. The only thing i can think is the SD card slot may be damaged or something? idk any help is much appreciated
already tried vimms lair but it only has the usa version, and yes i specifically the european version because the usa version does NOT work.
