Unpopular opinion- I wish the retrosquad was kept around
I know the lack of theming is annoying....I get it. But let's be real, aside from Forbidden Valley with funk 'n fly none of the areas they were placed had been themed in years anyway...they were a bit of an eyesore yes but they added so much capacity to the park and more rides that it made it feel really worth the addition, and knowing you could at least count on a new retrosquad ride every year or so was pretty comforting....maybe if gave the areas surrounding the retrosquad some 90s floor paterns and some other small touches like that people would have liked them more....ah well. I get why people disliked them for sure but I feel if they made the ride line-up of them a little more thrilling and had some floor paterns in "retrosquad" areas where new retrosquad rides are put/replaced and maybe a teeny tiny bit of theming around the areas that they place retrosquad rides people would have liked them more and we'd still be living in a world where alton got a new ride every year....ah well.
