That is news to me

I got 100% and submitted it on Sunday. What is going on at this absolute garbage company.

I just got an email about my account being temporarily suspended from raterhub access because I didn't complete that Root Cause survey from a few weeks back.

I did in fact do it on the very day it was sent out, claimed my hour for it for that week and had it approved.

Starting to truly believe all the humans were laid off from upper management and we're dealing with a team of Lex Luthor's monkeys now.

I just got an email from Welo Data saying I “did not pass” the Label Studio Factuality Exam.
The problem is… I never even took the exam 😭
There was never: an exam link nor instructions/schedule, any notification about this exam OR anything saying I had started an exam.
So now I’m sitting here wondering how I managed to fail an imaginary test. The email also says my account is not impacted and no action is required.

So I’m mostly confused and honestly surprised.
Did anyone else get this email without actually taking the exam? Was it just a system mistake or auto-fail situation?

Proves to me the monkeys have taken over and running WeLo just bashing buttons. This is next level stupidity. Swedish , failed surveys we turned in so suspended and now didnt pass a exam when been in factuality already over a year and half. Wow. Just wow

Anybody else get a BS account suspension notice just now from Welocalize? They’re claiming that there’s been a trend in my recent blind assessments that I’ve been marking inaccurate things and passing them off as accurate. I got 7/8 on the May TPR and 100% on the Factuality quiz. I haven’t had any hours in two weeks minus 4 tasks yesterday. All of which were cut and dry accurate. So supposedly a 1 to 3 day review of my account and they’ll let me know if I’m reinstated. So I can not work some more since there’s no hours.

And hilariously I just received another email from them telling me that I did not pass the Label Studio Factuality Exam to join the factual group. I never received a quiz from this place and to join factually. I took a quiz like well over a year ago, which I passed.

I’ve been in Factuality for over two years and just got an email that I didn’t pass the Label Studio exam so I can remain in General Pop. ive been in Factuality since the beginning . I have no idea what Label Studio is. I’ve passed every single Factuality exam. WTF is this ? what is happening ?

Today’s Google search results are worse than they were 10 years ago.

We know that projects in the area of AI algorithm result evaluation are becoming increasingly rare, quality metrics have lost any meaningful standards, and payment rates have dropped absurdly. Special thanks to Welocalize, Appen, Telus, OneForma, etc...

There is now a horde of people receiving scraps and working with absolutely no commitment to quality. Let’s face reality: I follow these groups, and it’s not hard to see evaluators openly sharing evaluation tasks with each other.

Everyone is trapped in a chain of cynicism: companies pretend they are paying a reasonable rate, and evaluators pretend they are working properly.

For the salary being paid, it’s hardly worth trying to maintain any real quality standard.

More than a decade ago, I was part of a solid project with a monthly quality evaluation metric that was terrifying, but at the same time excitingly challenging — all of this with a reasonable salary. (God bless the late Leapforce.)

Nowadays, what remains is this: you try searching for something on Google or any AI system, distrust the information you receive, and then have to manually re-search everything on some ad-filled website just to verify whether the information is actually true.

The path between the user and information has become longer and less reliable.

And all of this is happening because of Big Tech’s uncontrolled race toward AI-driven automation, making the user experience worse than ever.

At this point I’m convinced the nice bingo girl accidentally clicked the wrong button after hosting bingo night. Instead of sending prize winners she sent “FAILED EXAM” to the whole company 💀

I finally found a job opportunity and I'm honestly desperate for this job, especially given the scarcity of tasks lately. I haven't worked an in person job in 3 years and I really don't want to lose this opportunity.

I just need 2 more references and I honestly don't have many people I can ask. If anyone would be willing to help me out I would truly appreciate it so much. I can also return the favor and act as a reference for you too if needed.
