My HDD got broken so I had to redo most of what I already drew so I can also revise them. Good thing that I left an uploaded draft on our local webcomic site. My panels are supposed to be Polaroid cameras for the First Act and will change when the Second and then Third act comes... I'm working on a 1920x1080 and I squish it down to a 1280x800 resolution and then i batch resize the file size so it fits with the 20mb upload. The resizing process makes me doubt if i should continue doing this because it basically makes the art look low res. HOWEVER. I don't like drawing with a large brush like I once drew in Medibang (Medibang's smallest brush is 1 and it's still thick and the app lags on huge canvasses and can't be used for animation) I'm using Krita now but if I turn to using 1280x800, the 0.1 brush size ( as used in the pic ) will look slightly larger. I'm asking for some feedback.

Hello, everyone! The Red and Blue duo trope in anime and comics. ☺️ At this point, I think I can fit most of the characters in different shades of red and blues in my own work.

Do any of you have favorite red and blue pairs? I’d be extra hyped to see some yuri pairs that fit this trope!! 😩🩷 Especially if someone mentioned to make the red one angelic and the blue one devilish. (I couldn’t)

I like to do this every time I feel like I've progressed a lot. Went from hardly knowing what brushes did what to feeling like a real artist! Never stop improving!

I've been working on this comic for a big while now, even before publish. but I've realized my artstyle isn't good enough, specially in the beginning. my friends sugarcoat their opinions about it, and at some point I believed them. but at this point, I'm now feeling like this is just a failing project. I was thinking of starting to animate some parts of it today. but I just couldn't stop thinking about not doing anything and letting it be unfinished. I started writing it when I was 17-18, now I'm going to be 22 soon. art isn't my major, my family like the classic paintings I do to them, but doesn't understand why I'm working on a comic while I should be working on my biology uni researches. I feel really helpless and I'm afraid to try again for the fourth time. because it won't be as great as it should be. I'm cursed with trying to reach perfection. or maybe I'm just trying to be realistic. my parents would love to hear my name as a biotechnologist, not as a failed comic artist. I'll either take a break, or just stop uploading. this is a vent.
