Nikanros, Simping and being ok with realistic criminal ai depictions.

Nikanros, Simping and being ok with realistic criminal ai depictions.

Yesterday some kid ai generated himself digging uo chibireviews dead brother. This is the typical response you see from people who claim to hate chibi for tangible reasons. This dude in particular made the Nux video about his discird server. These are the people that tell you Nux is a pedo. The dude thats clearly ok with ai generating footage of you digging up a dudes real life brother. Seeing its as an opportunity to talk about anime tropes

This is who we have making vids on whats moral. Everyone who hates chibi is trying to find a way to make this out to be ok. Suddenly ai generating crime is fine. None of them even react tovthe fact the dude is a nazi. They care more about chibi than the literal nazi. Can we not take this dude seriously anymore.

I just really hate this dude. He's not genuine and never was.

Not that I assume anyone here likes him.

Has Mel Nekomata returned to the internet yet?

I'm sure a lot of you know who Mel Nekomata is and for those who don't, she's a Vtuber who has a history of farting or taking a s**t on-stream, scamming her viewers for donations, deleting her content, and then rebranding with a new alias and then rinse and repeat. Last year, she used a model named "Aery Viridis" that ripped off Airi Viridis of V-Dere, and I was a fan of her for a while because I had no idea who Mel was at the time. She streamed for a couple months and then she nuked her content in July due to claiming that she was upset about being a failure, so I set up a campaign to get her back into streaming, but then a few users confirmed she was a fraud all along, and when I learned the truth about her, I was devastated to hear that the Vtuber I felt sorry for was a longtime manipulator who's had a history of doing very obscene things in her older streams. Plus, I had no idea who Mel Nekomata was until then.

As some of you may remember, I made a post asking if what those users said about her was true, and then she used one of her alt. accounts to threaten me with legal action against me if I didn't delete those posts I made about her, though I thankfully didn't give in to her demands. Shortly after the whole Aery Viridis debacle on this site, Mel continued to emo post on Twitter, rebranded with a new Vtuber persona and then a regular user that isn't a Vtuber, and then deleted all of her accounts afterwards. In October of last year, Airi Viridis (the real Airi, not Mel Aery) made a PSA warning her fans that Mel copied her name and appearance and reassured them that she's *not* Mel nor has she ever interacted with her or taken part in her deceptive practices, so I subbed to Airi to recover from being manipulated by Mel.

However, as of early 2026, Mel Nekomata hasn't made any returns or reincarnations since then. Maybe she's finally outgrown her history of scamming people and has finally moved on from that to spend her time with her boyfriend she kep talking about on Twitter. Either that, or more people, including established Vtubers, arr aware of her now and is worried she'll be instantly recognized if she comes back at all. I still, however, wonder if she's returned with a new name yet, because it's been about a year since she was on the web and has been radio silent after deleting her accounts.

For those who do know if she *has* returned yet, leave a link to her hypothetical new channel or screenshots of her channel in the comment section, if you can, because something like shouldn't fade into obscurity and more people ought to be aware of her actions.

ELI5: Why is Mujin apologizing for using the word "predator"?

He used the term absolutely correctly. Someone stronger preying on the weak. The term doesn't have to be sexual or even illegal. Yes it could be targetting underage, but only sometimes. I've seen it used more often not describing that.

IMO: the only thing Mujin did wrong in his now-deleted video was apparently doxxing the group chat (for one frame).

Regardless, I unsubscribed from him knowing now he is such a pushover that cannot even defend his own words but would rather wait and then parrot what the general consensus is. He's lost all of his credibility.

Vtuber using art without permission and not crediting, what can be done?

Hello

One of my friend is an artist, who is trying to make a living from it.

They realized a Vtuber making ASMR videos used their commissioned art without permission and had no credit.

They contacted the person, asking them to remove the art but got no response. The person is still active on the platform. My friend didn't want their identity to be revealed by filing a copyright claim form.

I went to check the channel myself, to see if this is some one time issue. I found many otherof examples of commissioned art taken only few credited and even directly from mobile games, copyrighted art, not credited! (I reverse searched pictures and found artist names, but none credited).

My friend is right now stressed that their work is used without credit, for characters that does not match with intentions for when making this.

I went and contacted another artist that wasn't credited, and was told some of those are even hiden behind some paid subcription on another platform (uncredited). And another left comment for the similar issue.

How can I help my friend in this case?

(I added some example screnshot to the post)

Thank you.

Analysis of Icelyn's doc about Sykkuno

I looked at the doc and other info and I am not satisfied with the math at all. I see a clear pattern of people including Icelyn trying to reframe the story.

In her public doc, the first DM screenshots are dated March 6-7, 2020, which matches her statement that she was 17 then.

In the same doc, the screenshot under “Here, I invite him to my 18th birthday celebration” is followed by a visible timestamped continuation on April 19, 2020.

She says:

> I censored the months because I don't want my exact birth date to be public knowledge,

That same birthday screenshot references “Sunday”, and April 19, 2020 was a Sunday.

So the public doc strongly supports: 17 in early March 2020, 18th birthday celebration in April 2020.

Sykkuno's Fandom Wiki states:

> In January 2025, When Icelyn was 21, he asked her to come to Europe, however she stated she couldn't afford the flight.

That claim is inconsistent with the doc. If her birth month is April 2002, she would have been 22 in January 2025, not 21. There doesn't seem to be any way she was 21 at the time.

So for verifying the allegation timeline, the cleanest conclusion is:

March 6-7, 2020: 17

April 2020: turns 18 (so just month and a few days after their first interaction)

Likely birth month: April

When she was invited by Sykkuno to Europe she had to be 22 and not 21.

There is also no indication that Sykkuno even knew her age before the birthday invitation. And I see a pattern of Icelyn's behavior to make her age non-transparent, she actually has December written on some platforms, for example on X: December 21st which would put her well into being 18 (18 and 7 months) when Sykkuno approached her.

I'm out of the loop on Sykkuno drama: Why are so many people mad at the people who exposed him if the cheating was confirmed?

I didn't really see the drama after the first exposed other than the response confirming it, but I've seen people being mad at the woman who wrote the doccument, Mujin and even Bao for some reason?

A TLDR of Mujin's video reflecting on the Sykkuno video

Mujin made a video talking about the Sykkuno video he made.

https://youtu.be/gqexhueL5xM

A lot of people are calling it an apology, but there is a lot more to it than that. Here are all the points that were discussed in the video grouped by category.

Apologies:

- He is sorry for using the textbook definition of "predator" instead of considering the internet usage.

- The video was rushed and he is sorry for that.

- He should have called out when Mal talked about wanting Sykkuno to break up with his GF and continue being with her.

- He apologized for leaking information about Sykkuno's girlfriend.

- He is sorry for releasing the video so quickly after the google doc was dropped.

- He is sorry for any harm he may have contributed towards the girlfriend.

Clarifications:

- He was first reached out by Mal on April 7th.

- He made the video because of the voicecall in which Sykkuno admits guilt thus considering it as his side told.

- He wanted to make the video to bring awareness and help avoid more victims.

- He didn't handle blurring sensitive information in the video, at least for the girlfriend DMs.

- Does say that some people are alleging stuff about Sykkuno that is worse than cheating but he doesn't know if it's true.

- His main priority is to stop Sykkuno from lying about being single and coercing women into unfaithful relationships.

- To avoid this from happening again he won't talk about drama before it happens, only after.

Things he insists on:

- He didn't delete any comments on the original video.

- He doesn't understand why so many people are defending Sykkuno cheating.

- He didn't change the title or thumbnail of the video since upload.

- He isn't liable for defamation since he wasn't intentionally lying at any point.

- He is not trying to get into the pants of the victims.

- He feels sorry for the girlfriend that this went public but still considers it necessary and inevitable.

- He does not believe the girlfriend should be getting hate for staying and that it's her choice.

- He was advised to not make any apologies but he doesn't believe that's the right thing to do.

- He wants his fans to always hold him accountable.

Is Sykunno's behavior being overlooked due to the focus on Mal and Bao

I don't understand the response to this drama…

Here's what I know so far; Sykunno cheated on his girlfriend with Mal. Mal, to start, did not know Sykunno was in a relationship. Sykunno was not only talking to Mal but a couple of other girls and eventually these girls would come to speak with each other and inform Sykunno's actual girlfriend by getting in contact with Bao? Bao later subtweeted about Sykunno's creeping on smaller content creators. Later Mal would go to Mujin and Mujin made a video in which he called Sykunno a predator. I saw that people were upset by the use of the word predator which did confuse me.

I don't understand people being upset about the word "predator" because according to Dictionary..com predator is defined in this way:

"A predator person is an individual who manipulates, exploits, or harms others to fulfill their own desires, power cravings, or s*xual urges. They **often** target vulnerable people using grooming tactics—such as charm, lying, and creating artificial intimacy—to gain trust before exploiting them"

I get that people on the internet have come to understand the term as being exclusive to groomers so it makes sense that the use of that particular word could be confusing due to the association but the word is not being used incorrectly here. Sykunno did actively lie to get into a girl's pants and that is listed as a predatory behavior point blank. I think that this fact isn't being taken very seriously. Consent under false pretenses isn't actually consent; I understand that we as a society don't usually take infidelity very seriously, it tends to be treated more like a "fact of life" although I believe that view needs to change because it is definitely reprehensible to bring a non-consenting party into something as unethical as an affair. I think confining the word "predator" in such a way actively strips the word of its meaning and removes weight from predatory behaviors that don't involve minors.

Veering away from that topic, I believe that a non-consenting affair partner is undoubtedly a victim and has a right to claim so. Even if Mal says "I mean we can still be FWB" after confrontating Sykunno it doesn't change Mal's victim status as consent cannot be retroactively gained. She, still, was not aware of the other partner and that made her an unwilling party. Same goes for any other girl he has done this to. It doesn't mean Mal is particularly "in the right" but I want to hammer in this point about the importance of consent. I am concerned that people will end up giving Sykunno a pass and that's very sad so I'd like to encourage thinking with some level of nuance even if you dislike the person who spoke out.

I will also add that I've seen many people uplifting Powdur when this topic is discussed. I won't lie, I think Powdur is a grifter but she has a right to talk about her own experience with Sykunno. I think the main issue is that her statement was basically-

“I knew the guy was flirting with me, it was pretty obvious. It was likely he'd be talking to more than one person so I didn't go for it. He isn't a predator and you're not a victim because it's clear, you have a brain”

It's heavily paraphrased but I want to give the gist of it. The original post is here -> https://www.reddit.com/r/VtuberDrama/s/nUslUmSXVA

I think the reason Powdur ruffled so many feathers is because it actively downplayed the issue of lying to gain sexual favors but also blamed people who fell for his lying instead of focusing on the issue of being dishonest in the first place. She has a right to her opinion but I don't understand people pointing to this post as one of her successes when it doesn't really state anything particularly useful. It is pretty much just her opinion on the situation and there is nothing wrong with that although she does use it to downplay the betrayal the other women who actually involved themselves with Sykunno were feeling.

I don't think Sykunno is an evil pedo but he is a predator by definition and he did manipulate the women he slept with as well as his actual girlfriend. I think it is safe to say that he is an **abuser** and I know some people will absolutely disagree, you have a right to your opinion but I believe that infidelity is a form of emotional abuse and doing it more than once proves disinterest in the emotional well being of your partner. If you're habitually cheating you are required to intentionally betray their trust more than once and that is going to scar the victim and make normal relationships difficult to maintain in the future. I think that's also not talked about enough when the topic is brought up.

In general I think Sykunno is a bad person, I don't think he is a victim and I'm concerned upon seeing some users portray him as one. I want to be sure everyone knows this guy's actions are severe and his girlfriend is very much a victim too. I do think that she deserved a heads up before this was made public because it puts her in the spotlight in a way that is almost totally negative. She didn't deserve to be pulled into the limelight like that but I also believe this needed to be public because bringing non-consenting women into an affair is disgusting and girls need to be aware that he will lie/omit information if he can.
