Lowering car on a budget
Is this a good setup with oem struts or should I get coilovers?

Hi All,
Currently having an issue with my wiper fluid line, it seems to have disconnected and I don't know where it's supposed to connect back to. I can't find any diagrams that are helpful if anyone knows where it should go. Fluid comes out of it when the pump runs.
Thanks!
Ive got a 98’ s70 glt, car is currently on ipd blue struts and springs, but all the struts are blown, car rides like shit, and ive had to replace a few tires from the potholes in town, ive read that h&r springs are good for handling, but does anyone have any recommendations for good struts for ride quality?
ideally want it a little lower than stock height (1-2”) with stiffer suspension for handling, but i would like to be able to drive down the hwy without having to worry about the bridge joints making it feel like my car is going to explode. TIA
(sorry for formatting, on mobile)
if sacrificing ride quality is part of it being better at handling, can anyone help me source/find some oem springs for it? found a kit on fcp euro for a suspension refresh but it requires oe springs and i cannot for the life of me find them
I got myself a pair of aluminium control arms for ~35€/piece. I used the polishing tumbler at work to clean the control arms, replaced the bushings and the ball joint. An absolute steal considering how rare they are (last pic is before and after)
I have a 97 850 that I've been struggling to find coilovers for and was wondering if I'd be able to use some that are compatible with a 98 s70
Got a 98' base v70 that blew a main seal. Ordered a new rack from Detroit axel and intended to do the work but I probably have to spend like 200 more dollars on tools and some other replacement parts.
Would anyone know a ballpark estimate of a rack replacement from experience?
I recently decided to buy an OEM 4x50 amp for my SC-805 radio, only issue is the amp seams to not work at all, I’ve ruled out any issues that isn’t the amp. (cables, radio, speakers) Nothing inside the amp seams to get warm at all. (The circuit board doesn’t want to budge out the housing, but it looks to have several of those tiny resistors on the underside.)
I’m working on the pcv for a 94 Volvo non-turbo 850. There is a bolt behind the therm house that I have not been able to reach or get to no matter how many u joints and extensions I’ve tried
Random shot but does anyone out there know what I’m talking about and could give any guidance ?
I was able to get everything off but putting it all back has been more frustrating than removing 😭
Hi guys,
I have a large oil leak on my volvo v70r from 1997. My mechanic told me that the Valve cover sealant needs replacement and wants to charge me 5 hours. Is it really that complicated? Do you guys have a experience on that?
Thanks in advance,
Philip
I've got a weird one.
When the steering lock is anywhere to the right of centre the weird noise in the video turns up.
I can't tell if it's coming from the left or right hand side.
Any ideas? I had a look on here first and I seem to be the first person to have this problem!
