Does the university give acceptance on 12 grade school transcript and graduation certificates or they ask for official IGCSE since final results will be issued in August. Anyone who went through this.
My interview went quite well, but I cant access my test scores. can you not see them at all or is there a way to find out how i scored? wrote math and biology if thats relavant

Is university of Debrecen good? I've found reviews about the quality of studies not being good but that dates hack to like 5-7 years ago. I have noticed that university ranking has increased over the years but I do want to know people's opinion who actually attend the university about how good it is.

i applied to the biochem program for the UOD i believe that i got at least 75% on both chemistry and biology written exams, but for the oral exam... lets just say that i kinda panicked and ended up only being able to answer like.. 1 question of what the professor asked me, i responded it with detail but as she kept asking more specific things my mind went blank.... what are my odds that i will be accepted into the uni? how long does it take them to send the official result?
Hello! I just got into the biology programme here and want to know the dormitory situation.
I emailed two hotels that are listed on the UNIDEB website, and their prices were super high, 185,000 HUF per month for a 3-person shared accommodation. Is there perhaps a cheaper dormitory not listed on the university website? Are they on the main campus?

I’m from the UK (female) and I’ve visited Hungary a couple of times before, so I’m somewhat familiar with the country, but this would be my first time actually studying abroad. Right now I’m considering either English and American Studies or Communications, but I’m still a bit unsure.
I mainly have questions about the application process and how competitive it is to get accepted. I’ve tried looking online, but I feel like I’m not finding super clear or up-to-date info, so if anyone here has gone through it (especially as an international student), I’d love to hear your experience.
I know it’s a bit early since applications for September 2026 are still open, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has applied this year (or is in the process right now) — how has it been so far?
I also wanted to ask about the visa process for UK students, how complicated is it, how long does it take, and is there anything important I should know or prepare for in advance?
I’m also planning to rent my own apartment rather than live in a dorm, so if anyone has insight into how realistic/expensive that is in Debrecen, that would help a lot too.
