TU acceptance
Hi everyone,
I’m a non-EU student who received a conditional acceptance from TU/e, and I have some questions regarding the guarantee fee / proof of financial means and tuition payment process.
My deadline to transfer the fees is 31/5, but my final A-Level exams are in June and the final results only come out in August, so I’m still under conditional admission and the situation feels a bit risky financially.
I wanted to ask:
- Has anyone managed to request an extension for the payment deadline beyond 31/5, or at least until after sitting the exams in June?
- If the payment is already transferred and later the student decides to cancel enrollment or does not meet the final conditions, how much of the money is refundable?
- Does TU/e refund both the tuition fee and proof of financial means / guarantee amount?
- Did anyone here go through this as a non-EU student?
I would really appreciate hearing real experiences, especially from students who had conditional offers pending final exam results.
