Beginner Grunge Mix/Master Feedback Needed – I Remain

Hey everyone,
I’d appreciate some honest technical feedback on my grunge track I Remain.
I mixed/mastered it in Cubase with a Steinberg UR22C and aimed for a raw, emotional sound — not overly polished.

Main things I’d like feedback on:

  • Instrument/VST drum balance
  • Vocal placement & pronunciation
  • Overall punch and master quality

Thanks a lot to anyone who takes the time to listen.

Illustrator/Designer wanted

Hey guys, I am looking for an artist that can design me a character and logo for your garage/grime/jungle/dubstep collective. I want to print stickers, merch and use it

It is really hard to find someone that gets the vibe of the culture as other designers dont get what I am looking for.

Do you know any? Would also help if you just post profiles of graphic designers you like.

Reese bass sub question

When doing the reese basses where they jump up and down an octave, should you make sure your sub doesn’t? Do you use the sub from the reese? I learnt that instable subs are a no go and have noticed a lot of reese bass subs are instable so I usually do a seperate sub

I need some people in this community to clear this up. Is using Jamaican vocals considered corny? I love using them especially for UKG but the other day when I was collabing with this guy from KC, he said using Jamaican vocals is super cheesy. (Granted this American makes melodic dubstep and starting to dive into UK bass Rohaan/Hamdi type) but it got me thinking if there’s a time and place for Jamaican vocals in UKG..
Thoughts?

Made this - not yet mixed but before I do wanted to see if anyone had advice since it still feels not quite right but I recon it has potential.

Any tips would be great!

I’m getting carried away by not finish this before posting it, but I just thought this was too sick not to share.

Edit: Damn mb I didn’t think nor want this to be dubstep. I don’t wanna send the wrong message here so I’ll turn this into a I need help post and say how do I make this sound more like UKG? It’s probably just the sound selection on the bass?
