Still haven’t heard back from UAL for my MA applications

Hello everyone!

I applied to 3 UAL MA courses in the second round (before 31st March) for the Sept 2026 intake. I still haven’t heard back from any of them and on following up I got an email saying that my applications are still in review and that I should be able to hear back latest by 19th June. I am getting very anxious now. I don’t know but I feel like this delay means most likely I will not be given an offer. Anyone who has gotten offers so late? Idk I’m not hopeful in the least :(

UAL interview verbal offer?

Hi, I'm international student.

just did an interview yesterday, and am quite overwhelmed?

The interviewer(staff) told me something like

'We'll put you an offer~, See you soon., The administration team will let you know about the next steps in a few weeks via mail'

These are pretty positive signals, right?

Like I think I got a verbal offer, but just don't want to jump to the conclusion. Don't wanna get disappointed, you know.

Has anyone got verbal offers in interviews? Are they more direct?

And also, how long does it take to receive the final offer(via email) after a verbal offer in the interview?

thanks in advance :)

Application finalised

I applied for an MA course and following up with the admissions team they sent me this:
I can see on our system that your interview is complete, and your application is finalised by our specialist team, so please don’t worry that you’ve not heard from us yet.

I’m not sure if this is good sign or not ?

Hi I'm an Aussie MA student I was wondering if its common for MA students to get a single room when I request back when they first opened for a studio?

I've lived in College housing before, so that isn't an issue... However, I would like my own kitchen and a little more space.

Is it common to get Only 1 offer? They gave me 4-5 days to accept? And I'm on the last day tomorrow, so i'm a little nervous.

For more info, last week I got the offer for a standard room at the costume store.... But I really don't want to be stuck in a smaller room...

edit: Context I applied for 2026-2027 housing when they open, however, I don't officially start my degree till September...

Hey everyone, I’m preparing my fashion portfolio for applications to Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, KABK Den Haag, and Gerrit Rietveld Amsterdam for 2027 intake. I’m 22, based in Germany.
Some context: I already applied to ArtEZ Fashion Design this year with less than a month of preparation and made it to the second round of admissions. The committee said they saw potential but weren’t sure if I was ready yet — so I decided to take a full year to prepare properly before applying again to schools. I have existing portfolio work including conceptual menswear sketches, sketchbook pages with process documentation, and a moodboard. I’m also doing basic courses in fashion drawing, fashion design and sewing in my city alongside this.

I’m deciding between two options at UAL/CSM London:

Option A — Two 4-day courses 24 hours each (£1,450 48hours in total)
First: Ian Kettle’s 4-day course (£720) — individual portfolio review, personal design language guidance, texture sourcing workshop, runway deconstruction, figure drawing. Ian has a BA from CSM and MA from Royal College of Art, 20+ years teaching menswear at CSM.
Second: Nicole Zisman & Evelyn Bennett’s 4-day sketchbook course (£730) — anatomy for quick spontaneous drawing, silhouette, textiles, print, draping, pattern cutting, full sketchbook as output.

Option B — One 10-day intensive course (£1,490):
Ian Kettle + Daniela Bomba together — drawing, research, 3D development, textile and print, portfolio preparation. ~59 hours total. Described as excellent preparation for further studies in fashion education. Option A feels more personal and directly targeted at what Antwerp and KABK evaluate. Option B has more hours and includes 3D development but is described primarily as CSM preparation.
Which would you choose and why? Has anyone here applied to Antwerp or KABK and can share what helped most?

I applied for the fashion pathway in foundation at UAL but they offered me 3D design instead, claiming they saw me more fit for costume design. I’m not completely against this idea if I’m still able to progress on to fashion at CSM but I’m also very unsure because it’s not what I actually want, since my main interest is fashion and I’m not sure I’ll be able to fully shift my focus on to that while doing 3D design. I doubt I’ll have the freedom to just do the costume design aspect of 3D design. And it’s a lot of money I’ll be wasting if this course isn’t what’s right for me.
Im worried if I don’t do the foundation I won’t be able to progress into fashion design at CSM since it’s suggested you do their foundation for a better chance at being accepted.
Should I take this opportunity or save myself the money and attempt to reapply for fashion design womenswear next year?
I could use a gap year focusing on a solid portfolio and developing my skills or would I be better off in 3D design with tutors to support me? But then again they’re not fashion tutors…

I’ve received an offer from London College of Fashion for the upcoming intake and wanted to connect with others from India who might be joining as well.
