New and need advice

I have maybe 20 mins in the game, have already seen (and died to) some pretty big tornados, and kinda know how to do probes. All help and advice would be nice. (Starter truck, Dorothy V probes)

Tips for beginners Pt. 2

  1. Learn what a wedge actually is before you report a tornado. Wedge literally means it's wider at the base than it is tall. People constantly report a wedge just because the tornado is big. Just because it's large, doesn't make it a wedge. Especially the ones that are super duper wide at the top and tiny at the base. Those are called cones.

  2. The pink TVS does not mean EF5! It means the tornado has winds of 140 mph or higher. Refer to an EF scale chart so you know the correct wind ranges for the different ratings.

  3. If you measure winds in a tornado that are like 280 mph, that doesn't automatically make it an EF5. Remember, ratings are based on damage, not winds. So choose the language you use more properly when announcing things. Don't be surprised if you get corrected by someone after saying something stupid.

  4. If you don't know who Reed Timmer or Sean Casey are, learn about them. Fast. They are our almighty high tornado GODS. We quote Reed all the time and you need to know the references. Fuck Olive Garden.

  5. Stop saying F5 for the tornadoes in the game! The old Fujita scale hasn't been in official use since before 2007. We use EF! If you want to refer to the F scale, make sure you know what you're talking about first. The F and EF scales are vastly different from each other.

  6. Have some patience with saving your money. It's not going to kill you to wait a couple more days to save for a dom 3 or tiv 2 as opposed to the lesser versions. It's just going to take you longer to get the better vehicles because of having to start all over with saving. Get the best version the first time!

If anyone has more tips that weren't already on part 1, comment them!

I bought the TIV1 instead of the DOM1. W purchase or not?

the reason i bought the tiv 1 because the whole server was begging on there knees for me to buy the 2005 tiv1 instead of the dom1 i wanted

It finally happened.

After hours on this game, I finally witnessed a map-wide tornado. The entire server was glitched. Nobody could place probes or spawn their cars.

my first multivortex ΟωΟ

yes, I know there isn’t any subvortices, but the tornado isn‘t a funnel. it was dark red TVS and later turned into a wedge. am so happy

What to do if you’re bored on twisted?

if you’re bored on twisted, you can do a lot of stuff. playing with friends is an obvious choice, if they play twisted, of course. if you play alone in a private server, it gets boring quick.

if you have the trucking game pass, you can deliver stuff. it’s a pretty cool way to grind.

challenge your self. I dunno, use the worst car, hardcore mode, etc.

take pictures using your camera. you can get money from it, and it’s interesting to see how many unique shots you can get.

messing around with glitches can be pretty fun too. if you and a lot of other people are in a private server, you can ask the server owner to turn on vehicle collisions. my experiences with it was very.. interesting.

if you have any other ideas, feel free to share!
