I bet on the grandmother and the final image

I don't know about you, but can you imagine if the cars you see in the pictures had their own drivers? The others already have them from the previous game. I'm just curious

I posted a few weeks ago with some questions about the Twisted Metal 2 comic and wanted to update.

I picked this up when it came out in the 90s and forgot about it until I was looking for other comics at my parent’s house. I was about to post it here to see if anyone wanted it but thought I’d check eBay first to see if is worth was worth anything.

I was pretty shocked to see what it was going for in the rare occasions it goes up for sale.

I’m trying to figure out how exactly I got it, which is why I posted before. 50 to 60 copies were given away for a contest that I know I never entered. 40 other copies were printed and either lost or destroyed. My best guess some of the lost copies ended up on a give away table at a comic store or a con. I’m sure I didn’t pay for it. All I remember from when I got it was thinking it was funny that it had a PlayStation logo instead of a comic book company.

I sent it off to be graded and it came back today!

It took a few decades, but my dad and I finally got to prove to my mom that keeping all our old junk would pay off!

Late last year while doom scrolling one night for the NKOK branded Sweet Tooth RC car, I managed to spot a few on eBay. I remember seeing these at GameStop years ago for about $50~ and figured now is as good a time as any to pick one up.

Reality hit me like a freight train when I noticed that these things tend to go for over $200 in... less than minty condition. After rummaging around a handful of listings I noticed that some would be painted better than others. That pretty much killed my hopes of getting one.

Christmas comes around and the itch to have the 2012 Sweet Tooth truck in RC form comes back like a bad rash. At one point an idea wormed its way into my mind; perhaps someone else has already made a shell that can be mounted onto a REAL RC car chassis - I thought. Sure enough, Google is our friend and a few Etsy shops come up with wares of ... questionable quality.

Fed up with what I was seeing (and the asking prices), I convinced myself I could do better. There were only several problems in my way.

• I don't know how to asset rip
• I don't know how to use any 3D modeling / CAD software
• I don't have a 3D Printer
• I don't know how to use said 3D Printer
• I don't have an airbrush kit
• I don't know how to use an airbrush

So I did what any rational adult would do. I threw money at the problem by buying all the necessary supplies and equipment. I'd "learn as I went along" I told myself.

Now it's New Years and I realize I'm in the deep end. I don't know what I'm doing and unsure where to start. I still haven't decided which RC car to go with (to this day) and so all my stuff is sitting in a corner. It's around this time that my PC upgrades start showing up from NewEgg's TikTok shop. Among them is my bent-to-hell Lian Li A3 computer case(s).

All I'll say about that here is that at one point I had 3 of these cases in my possession from various vendors. All of them bent. That's when it hit me. Instead of starting out with an RC car, why not start by customizing my case? You know. Making lemonade out of these damn lemons. In terms of scope, this would be a great way to dip my toes as it's vastly scaled back.

So I did.

Some 5~ months later, scrounging what free time I could find, I feel I'm in a good spot to start with my RC project as my PC case is pretty much finished. All it needs now is to be weathered up / rusted down. Oh! Also the other side panel that I have something special in mind.

I bought it used. I fear sweet tooth new skin is no longer available to download. Do you guys know any tricks to download from internet and install manually on ps3?
