What's everyone else's favourite Trivium song?

Had a Spotify All Time Plays pop up and figured I'd have a look.

Can't say im surprised honestly. Ascendancy was the first album of Trivium's I heard and this scratches the brain perfectly!

Anyone else being told the same?

Early concert

Still remember this concert and seeing Trivium being this young incredible band and thinking that my band didn’t stand a chance if this is what was on offering. Blew me away. Chimaira was insane good too. Wasn’t a bad spot in the house. Watched the whole concert less than 15 feet from both bands. 🤘

Looking for song recommendations

I'm working on a project with some musician friends of mine and we're looking for some horror themed (or at least horror/supernatural vibes) metal tracks to cover, Trivium is my favourite metal band so I really want to include them in this so I'm looking for any suggestions for songs that fit the vibe.

At the moment "what the dead men say" "villainy thrives" & "shadow of the abattoir" are at the top of the list.

Trivum setlist

Hello! I’ve recently taking a liking to triviums music and I’m seeing them at Sweden rock this year. Does anyone have an idea on what songs I can expect to hear? I would like to know so I don’t get too disappointed if they don’t play my favorites. I really hope that they open with rain. Their performance of it last year at bloodstock gives me goosebumps

NZ Metal heads and fans of Trivium and Lamb of God petition to bring them to NZ

🖤🖤 Attention fellow Metalheads🖤🖤

As you may know Trivium, Lamb of God and Bleed From Within have announced a series of tour dates in Australia in October 2026 but haven't included a New Zealand date.

Matt Heafy (Trivium) stated he pushed for a New Zealand date and has encouraged us fans to make some noise. So we are! I have started a petition to show the bands and promoters how much New Zealand would love a concert date.

Please sign, share and tag Trivium, Lamb of God, Bleed from Within and Destroy All Lines.

Thanks 🤟🖤

Trivium appreciation post.

I absolutely love these guys and am so bloody thankful for their existence. The effort, talent, growth and creativity of this band and all involved is astounding. I'm a street punk bastard but Trivium is my connection to the wider reality of music and they are all over the place in so many solid ways that give me the musical nutrients I need to survive this beautiful stuggle.

They will never know just how much their creative actions have changed our worlds as fans. But it helps me to know that the little things I do can have effect too. Absolutely love these guys and all involved, the fans too! Huge appreciation to my Trivium brothers and sisters that love and support these guys, you are the reason they can reach more of us and do what they do.

TL;DR: Trivium is rippin awesome and so are you! Thank you for being involved.

A thank you to the band for helping me through the dark stuff

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a bit of a personal win.

I’ve been dealing with a depression diagnosis and a lot of heavy life stuff lately. For a long time, I was feeding that headspace with music that, while great for short-term validation, was honestly just keeping me stuck in a victim mindset. It felt good to be heard, but it didn't help me move.

Then I came back to Trivium, and the switch was flipped.

The sheer epicness and the complexity of the riffs demand a different kind of energy. Listening to the dual-guitar harmonies and the technicality of their songs doesn't leave room for me to feel small.

Songs like "Ascendancy", "Into the Mouth of Hell We March", "Shogun", they make me feel like a warrior, not a bitch.

And ITCOTD feels like an epic soundtrack for the gear I’m grinding through right now. The music moved me from "why is this happening" to "Bring that shit on."

Just wanted to put some appreciation out there for the band. They didn't just write some songs. They helped me change my perspective on how to handle the dark stuff.

Thank you, Trivium

I don‘t know if this is even a weird take but
back when it came out I was sure Built To Fall was
going to be their most popular / most mainstream song? Maybe because it‘s pretty catchy and doesn‘t have much screaming parts or isn‘t a high pace.
When the singles dropped with the music videos I remember Built to Fall being more popular than In Waves etc. for some time (Because I clicked the video prolly a million times lol).

If it were a single today instead of back then do you think it would be one of those tracks with over 100-200 mil streams on spotify that even non-trivium fans know? If not why?

I remember even the acoustic version hitting millions of views on youtube so i expected it to age as one of their top songs. Now it‘s not even played live anymore unfortunately…

Got #151 today as well, Prophets of Rage, both from my dad for my birthday.

I've got Shogun, In The Court, and two variants of Struck Dead (black to listen to, Tiger to display). Getting either Ascendancy or In Waves next I think, a couple of their albums are pretty pricey though, so not sure how feasible a full discography will be.

Hey ya'll. I am kind of wondering where this stands. Its been a while since I heard about it. Last year Matt hinted at a 7 string explorer in the making but I haven't heard anything since. People often say there sre actually many updates but I don't hear about it in the streams.

I think about a month ago he was testing some pick ups but I am not sure if it is for this model. Does anybody per chance know more? I am really interested in it and thought lets ask! Thanks!

I made this for a final project in my Algebra II class. I hope you guys like it, I unfortunately did not do the emblem, there wasn't enough time before the due date 🙁

Edit: The lines on the R are not rendering all the way but I promise they are there, they like to fade in and out from time to time.
