The Maxx is a whole new world for me so I have no clue where to start on upgrading this. I started with a latrax prerunner that is now heavily modified and messed with my dads e-revo's and rustler vxl a little, I just got a 4-tec drift as gift from my dad not long ago that I already bl-2s swapped and it made me decide I needed a big basher now that I could afford one. The truck is stock besides the body, I plan on bashing it pretty hard so I want to upgrade it where it needs and have cheaper breaking points so I can have some more fun. I want to upgrade the servo first, I also was wondering if any skid plates exist for it, ways to keep the sides of the body in the lip coming off the sides of the chassis, and some bigger tire suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated

Just won this bad boy off the tool truck. Is it worth doing upgrades to or should I just run it as is and let my 9yr old have fun with it?

A bit of imperfections but it’s still good for my first time. Tamiya bright silver and Tamiya gunship grey, I wanted black stripes but the store only had dark gray. Its ok though 👌

Finally got some nice weather to take the Maxx out in, first clip is me checking the water depth, meant to just dip 2 tires in, then the whole thing went in lol, if my wife didn’t stop the video you would have seen it flip upside down and shut off and me running into the knee deep mud and water to fetch it lol.

All 4 colors to the beach. It drew quite a lot of attention throughout the evening, some of the most fun I’ve have in the hobby 10/10 convince your friends to buy matching cars

What would you guys value this truck? This is being offered in a trade, but I’m not too familiar with E maxx platform.

I decided to spend the extra 20 or 30 more per wheel for the chrome rims. My bank account is suffering but my happiness is high 😁

Had a crash battery ejected, batteries first run, my first LiPo not sure I want this thing around my house now lol

I was looking at new motors for my trx4 defender. My first 550 21T stock motor died very fast and my second is on its way. So I was gonna pick one up before it kicks the bucket. I was looking at the Injora 550 or the Holmes 550 trail master sport. I also don’t know what T to get. Since my truck is very heavy I was leaning towards a 27T instead of a 21T. Before you say, I am not getting a brushless setup😂. I saw someone say that a 27T from Holmes will be just as fast as the stock 21T because it’s better quality, is that true?

hi, i have a tmaxx classic im converting into a full blown 3.3 (yes ive put the 3.3 trans with the 3.3 driveshafts in) i know those 3.3 con rod are hot garbage, i cant find anywhere a aftermarket rod, i dont wanna use another motor in it (im already going to order an os 11k for it and i already bought a brand new 3.3 for it) i know there was davis diesel who was making some up to a point, anyone knows if stuff like his stilk exist/is sold online? i really suck at tuning nitro and i wanna give that 3.3 as much chance as possible

I compared the specs of a Traxxas replacement cooling fan vs. a bulk pack of fans from amazon. $20 vs $2, that is a huge markup. Same dimensions, same 5V @ 0.25A. (Dual bearing option is 5V @ 0.72A)... couldn't find any CFM specs to compare them air flow wise.

Traxxas uses these same fans in their battery chargers... and for their motor cooling fans.
