Can you apply in Bank Jobs even if you have unpaid OLAs?

hi! planning to apply sa mga banks, fresh grad. My concern is that may mga unpaid OLAs kasi me like Spaylater, SLoan, Gloan, Billease, Tala, and many more na hindi ko na nababayaran. Nagbasa me na pag pre-employment na sa banks they do background check like credit standing, ayaw ko kasi mag aksaya ng pera sa mga aapplyan na work if ganun kalalabasan since medyo gipit talaga me :(( makaka affect kaya sya or makikita nila?

thank you sa sasagot huhu

Help me choose the right bank for my payroll please. Bad exp in my current bank

Hello people of reddit! I would like to hear your opinion/suggestion because I have a bad experience with UB as my receiving account for my payroll (I work WFH and independent contractor, client is AU). Kakabukas ko lang UB refular savings account (through online) received my card in a week, and waiting game ako sa sahod ko ngayon.

I have bills to pay! Anyway, while I’m waiting for this I’m planning to open a new account for my payroll yung medyo okay sana kasi monthly yung sahod namin hindi biweekly. Iwas narin ako sa BDO as I have bad fraud experience there (my first bank). Currently, I’ve heard good things with BPI, and RCBC. Which is better po ba for wire transfers na payroll to receive on time? Thank you po sa sasagot.

Metrobank Home Loan no Collateral

Hi, let's say I have a TD in Metrobank in the 6 digits (I know it's not much), is there any way I can get a home loan from them amounting to a max of 1M? I have no collateral.

Additional context: I got a preselling house in the province, and dapat Pag Ibig financing sya, kaso lilipat na ko ng work, so hindi na daw aabot sa pag ibig, ang option ko na lang ay mag in house financing amounting to 16 percent PA. I can afford it naman, kaso unsettling lang, ang laki masyado ng interest huhu and I don't have any collateral talaga.

Eh lilipat pa lang akong work, I can't provide a COE an Payslip yet for the new company. I have a CC from another bank then the reservation form for the presellng house and statement of payment of full equity, not sure if that helps. Any tips, suggestions, or ideas will be much appreciated, thank you!

Opinion for bpi aia traditional insurance?

Henlo po, 25F, asking lng ng advice kakaapply ko lng ng insurance a week a go, bali I don’t have plan to get any insurance talaga since wala akong knowledge about that kukuha lng sana ako ng savings card sa Bpi then may lumapit na agent sakin which is bpi aia nga maganda nmn explanations nya nung una, pag kumuha kakase ng insurance parang libre na daw yung card and wala nading deposit na kelangan. Ending napa kuha ako ng insurance na quarterly ang payment (3500) hindi naman mabigat for me and atleast masecured ako if anything happens to me.

“Open an account within minutes” turned into a next-day interview and 45-minute wait

Tried opening a BDO account through BDO Pay because of their Facebook ad saying you can open an account “within minutes” using just a passport, no maintaining balance, and no initial deposit.

Worst banking application experience I’ve had so far.

The app itself kept glitching and throwing errors during registration. Took me almost 30 minutes just to submit my application because pages kept failing and freezing.

Then after finally finishing everything, I find out the “within minutes” part still requires scheduling a live online interview THE NEXT DAY. So apparently it’s not really “within minutes” at all.

Still, I adjusted my schedule and attended the interview today at exactly 1PM.

No one accommodated me.

Waited until around 1:30PM, got kicked from the meeting room, tried rejoining multiple times, still no response. As of 1:45PM, nobody had still entertained the meeting or provided any explanation.

I even called their hotline earlier because of the app errors, and the support experience somehow became even more confusing. I explained I was getting errors while registering, and the agent told me to “open a new account.” I explained I couldn’t even get through the registration process because of the errors, then she replied saying the errors were happening because I “wasn’t opening a new account.”

I literally asked her: “How can I open an account if I cannot get through the registration process?”

No resolution at all.

Honestly disappointing because I only tried BDO since their Tahanan branch is closest to me, and it’s the only major bank I didn’t have yet. Never experienced this level of inconvenience with BPI, UnionBank, or EastWest Bank.

I choose Psbank over Landbank kasi Metrobank ang may ari nito hahaha and kunti lang siguro branches nila and I hope indi sila mag emerge sa Metrobank Hahaha nag ooverthink ako🤣 Pero anyways maganda po ba ang Psbank for savings and daily use guys at maganda din debit Card nila hehe? Thank you Guys I really appreciate your thoughts😘

Im planning to close my bank account sakanila, for the reason na di siya convenient sakin, to the point na mag isang taon na kong hindi ako makagawa ng online account sakanila and dito sa nilipat kong place ay malayo na ang physical bank nila.

Plano ko sana is iwithdraw nalang yung pera thru atm and hintaying magclose yung account ko.

Mag o-automatic for closure na ba to after ilang months na walang galaw ng fund? I did email yung branch of account pero di naman sila nagrereply. Calling them naman is expensive since overseas ako. Thank you sa sasagot.

May mangyayari ba sa balance or sa account if walang mangyaring transactions for a long time? Tyia

Hello po, I'm a young professional looking to build a banking relationship for a long term future. I have savings account and credit card with PNB and RCBC. Will it improve my banking relationship with them if I also open a UITF Investment account with them?

Note PNB is my Payroll Bank Account

Thanks!

Unauthorized transactions Metrobank

Hi, I need some help here. Recently, I experienced unauthorized transactions from my Metrobank account where more than ₱100,000 was deducted. Literally, all the money in my savings account was wiped out. What’s worse is that I never received any email notifications or OTPs during the transactions.

I already filed a dispute with Metrobank, but I just wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced something similar. Usually, how many days or weeks does it take for cases like this to be resolved? Is there still a chance that the money can be recovered?

Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Thank you.

Hi. I'm planning to open a checking account on my name, but I'm currently a student. Planning to use it for dorm rent payment.

Do you have any suggestions as to what bank would be the best option for me?

TYIA!
