Netflix has been throwing INSANE amounts of money at anime lately, and honestly Tomodachi Game would fit their platform perfectly. The manga is brutal and psychologically messed up (which is probably part of why it never got proper physical English releases in the first place...)

but that’s EXACTLY the kind of content Netflix thrives on. This is lirerally the same platform that blew up with Devilman Crybaby, Squid Game and Alice in Borderland.

Tomodachi game has insanely loyal fanbase, a peak story till the end, the ratings of the manga are outstanding (myanimelist: Rank #306 - Score 8.37/10, animeplanet: Rank #552 - More than 4/5, Mangakakalot: ~4,5/5, Mangadex: ~9/10) and there’s basically no proper way for western fans to even support it legally right now. Netflix picking it up would genuinely be free money..

We’ve seen old anime suddenly come back because enough people kept talking about them (for example Liar game) Doing this WORKS!

The fandom is surviving on crumbs atp but we're STILL HERE! So stop hallucinating for season 2 like tenji hallucinated for the rice balls during Friendship hide and seek and do something about it 💗 !!!

Yo i just realised she went to hospital and chose to be a doctor to be with him and treat him. Most important thing in her life was justice, from that she could've be a lawyer or police. I like how author gave us leads like Tenji = lawyer Shibe = womanizer Koro = eromanga artist lmao And yuuichi trying to be better(i guess?)

I’ve made it to Chapter 95, and the manga has started to disappoint me. I’m tired of Shiho... I get why some people like her, but personally, she’s a terribly annoying character to me. I started reading the manga because of the manipulative antihero who has a dark side but values his friends and tries to change things for the better, playing the lead role. I’m just not interested in Shiho and her perspective. Will anything change in future chapters, or are we stuck with the “positive” character’s point of view?
