If something is in a box, it does NOT mean open it!
As the title says. Please stop opening everything, especially beauty!

My pride and joy, only section I truly care about
My store got selected to do inventory 4 times a year we just had our second one that started at 5 am. Our store manger said the next one is gonna be at 1am is this normal? Anyone that has done inventory 4 times a year
Found this candle in TJMaxx, it smells nearly exact to Vanilla Romance and even has a similar packaging theme! The only difference is less of the cardamom’s spice. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of the scent!
I quit after being back with tjx (tjmaxx this time) for only 3 months and I’m nowhere near sad about it. I had 0 hours my last week and I quit without notice before last week was even up. I was on the markdown team and closed a lot as well, so I was surprised when I was scheduled a whole 0 hours. But I started a new job last week where I am able to be myself and not have to harass people into getting a credit card.
( the reason they have for 0 hours is because there was no markdown file… but I worked closing shift as well so idk how I ended up with 0 but I don’t care anymore!)
So long, farewell, I will never be a tjx associate again. (I am just know it’s not me, and I’ve been possessed by a demon or smthing bc I’m never going back)
My manager has a meeting today about call outs and sick hours. I know in the past my managers have been very lenient with call outs and not firing people who should have been a long time ago bc of call outs and being late. They said today that from now on even if you have the sick hours to cover, any call out will count towards the 16 call outs before getting fired. Is this an actually corporate policy? Or are my managers trying to scare us into not calling out at all anymore bc of their own negligence in the past?
Does your store use the shelve extension things for beauty to make the shelves taller? My managers ordered them a few months ago but they haven’t put them up yet. We’ve been having trouble with not having enough space in beauty but they haven’t done anything to address the issue?! What was the whole point of ordering those extenders if you’re not gonna use them….waste of money.
This might be a long shot, but I figured it’s worth asking! I recently purchased this piece of artwork from TJ Maxx and I’m hoping to find a second one but it’s sold out everywhere. If anyone happens to have one they’d be willing to part with, I would be so grateful! Happy to pay for it plus shipping!
My ASM told me she’s been begging our DM to give us more payroll!!! So what do you think would happen if TJX managers everywhere start pushing back and purposely schedule over budget to give everyone decent schedules and especially livable paychecks?
I previously worked for TJX and need all my paystubs for various reasons. How can I access these?
I got hired at TJmaxx in Arizona ( where I live )
On March 31st I had the interview and was offered the job. She said orientation will be on the following Tuesday, so that Tuesday came up I believe like April something early in the month. Then she calls to tell me
“ no one will be there for orientation on Tuesday so we will do the following Tuesday”
Then I got a call THAT Tuesday from her that she has to push orientation back another week because they are shorthanded and can’t get a manager in to do orientation’s.
Is this unprofessional? Should I look for a different job? I feel like I’m being played? And it’s awful because the job market is horrible right now and the fact I still haven’t even started and my application still says offer in progress just keeps pushing back orientation;-; should I go through with this company with how it already sounds or should I just deal with it?
Whats your best generic customer complaint response .

This is mostly just me venting. I quit, and today was my last day. To be honest, I’m really relieved because the management team was terrible. My job was always in the dressing rooms during the almost year I worked there, and honestly, I wouldn’t have minded staying in that position, but it was becoming more and more common for no one to move the racks, even though I asked over the radio, or for them to ignore me when I asked them to cover for me since it was my time to leave, and that was really stressing me out a lot and making me feel so trapped.
The thing is, I didn’t tell any of my coworkers (the three people who actually helped me) that I was quitting, and today was my last day. Now I feel a little bad and I don’t know if I should have told them. They were really nice people who helped me a lot, but little by little I stopped seeing them because we weren't scheduled at the same time anymore, and today I saw just one of them but couldn't tell her.
I’m genuinely on my last straw with these damn kids toys. It’s the only part I hate about working in mens/kids. I always leave them for the coordinator but she never has time cuz they be calling her up to ring all the time. We use a shoe gondola for toys and they stay falling through the other side . We also had to take over the other side of pet toys cuz ts was getting packed but now pet toys is a horrendous mess😭✌️. It’s not even a merchandising problem, they just get messed up everyday. We use the wall near toys for clearance but it gets packed very fast and people STILL not buying them💀. Is it the same for your store? Give me some tips .
I probably organized ts wrong but thank god it’s organized…..i still have socks to put out
How long before they start cutting our staffs down to just 2 associates manning the entire store, 1 cashier and 1 floor associate?!?!?!?!?!?!?
