What katie did 22"
Notice when I reasonably tightly lace the waist tape and fashion fabric seem to loose contact.
Only looks strange when I bend.
Am I destroying this beautiful piece?
Corset on corset. Don't dare tight lace my new latex corset, so I laced a RM 22" under.
Obviously not as large reduction with two corsets and liner. Any one else tried this or have any suggestions?
I'm just now getting back into waist training after stopping for awhile and I'm looking for someone who wants to sell a corset. I prefer Isabellas corsetry if anyone has anything please message me. Thanks!
I just got my corset from timeless trends. A 26inch steel corset.
But i can almost tie it fully shut. Should i have gone a size down? Or is this a fine amount?
Would buying the MCC22 still be a bad idea if the bust is too big for me?
Hi! I’ve been trying to choose my first serious corset from Mystic City Corsets and I’m kind of obsessed with the MCC22 😭 I contacted the owner and she told me that the MCC22 is: longer/heavier than the MCC29, intended for more dramatic reductions, and designed more for DD–DDD bust sizes. She specifically said the bust of the size I want would probably be too large for me. The bust measurement of the corset is around 94 cm while my bust is about 84 cm. My measurements are roughly: Underbust: 31” Waist: 27” High hip: 36” Low hip: 36” Waist to lap: about 25–26 cm (shorter torso) She did NOT say it would be too long for me, mostly just that the bust would be large and that the MCC29 is smaller/more compact in the same size. The thing is… I still really love the MCC22 aesthetic 😭 I love the dramatic “armor/gothic” look much more than the softer MCC29 look. Also, my main goal honestly isn’t tightlacing or waist training. What I care about most is making outfits with it and having the corset look aesthetically beautiful on me. I really want that dramatic fantasy/gothic silhouette for styling outfits. I know the fit probably wouldn’t be technically perfect, but would it actually look BAD? Or could I make it work with: push up bras, padding, seasoning with a gap, etc? I’d especially love opinions from people with smaller busts who wore overbusts designed for fuller cups. Did the extra bust space ruin the look, or was it manageable? Also, do you think a torso around 25–26 cm waist-to-lap is too short for the MCC22 in real life? I’m trying to decide whether I should listen to the practical advice and get the MCC29… or follow my heart and get the MCC22 anyway 😭
