Anyone else watching “Million Dollar Secret"?

The show is cheesy and has the cheap Netflix look to it, but the gameplay loop is SOO much better than The Traitors. The agendas and clues force the players into making entertaining decisions. The challenges also help people determine who is the millionaire instead of being boring kumbaya team missions to add $5,000 dollars to a pointless pot.

Secret Pairings

If you’ve seen the UK seasons, each one had at least one pairing of people who knew each other. In all but the 3rd season these were kept secret from the other players. Do people think the 5th US season will have people that know each other and if so will they be open about it or keep it secret?

Traitors proves that A LOT of people are terrible judges of character

I already knew this but it’s interesting to see it in action in an unscripted show, (not sure if its really unscripted)

bias drives people’s decisions:

they like someone (no idea why) ➡️ they are not a traitor

they dislike someone (no idea why) ➡️ they are definitely a traitor

Your ideal episodes and players count for the Civilian Version

When the regular version of The Traitors premiered in Peacock, it featured 20 players with 10 episodes + 1 reunion episode. Since then the number of players is always 20+, either 22 or 23 players with the number of episodes increasing into 11 episodes + 1 reunion episode.

For the upcoming Civilian version on NBC, how many players and how any episodes do you think is ideal? Should it follow the staple of the Peacock version with 22/23 players over 11 episodes or maybe you want more or less episodes (for reference UK version traditionally has 12 full episodes in a season; without reunion episode).

Maura Higgins leaning into the bachelorette rumors 🌹

Fun little video she made! I am leaning more towards DWTS being the show she’s going on, but if she is the bachelorette, talk about BOMBSHELL!

To confuse the Gen Z fans, as a 44 year old, I think Alan’s best costume will always be his “The Great Gazoo” role in “The Flintstones” movie sequel.

Here's a Thought: What if The Traitors Were Split Into Different Teams?

A possible format idea that I think would make the game have an extremely interesting twist. What if out of all the traitors that are picked in the beginning, they're split into 2 or so teams of their own? So that way, they aren't just fighting against the faithful, but enemy traitors as well? This pretty much hops off of what S4 gave us already thus far, but expanding it further.

Based off S4, with the secret traitor shortlisting x number of faithfuls for murder, and the normal traitors then picking who to murder from that shortlist. In this case, one TEAM of traitors chooses players as possible murder options. Then the other team has the role of murdering one of the players shortlisted.

Neither group of traitors would know each others' identities, so like the faithful, they are in the dark on that note too & are actively working to figure out who their opponent traitors are.

One idea is that every night, the roles would alternate back and forth. So if team 1 of traitors get to shortlist and team 2 murders from it, team 2 shortlists and team 1 murders the next night. And so on.

OR, another idea is having the traitors from both sides having to earn the right to murder/shortlist via the missions, so that money & shields aren't the only things to play for. They have to perform well in missions in order to be able to do X or Y in the turret, and do so without detection. The traitors with the least results gets to shortlist, while the winning traitor team gets to murder.

Thoughts?

Realizing I've been a fan of Alan since childhood

I just went to Spy Kids in theater yesterday, and realized Alan has always stood out to me. Floop was/is such a good character, and I don't think he would've been so great if it wasn't for Alan.

He's the best part of The Traitors too, so his talent and charisma are fade-resistant. I'm thankful to have experienced such powerful artists like Alan in my life!

Rob C’s RHAP long interview with Candiace

I know Candiace is a polarizing player, so if this is not for you just skip it.

I almost fell out my chair when Rob asked her if she’s wearing overalls LOL!

I’m only about 12 minutes in so far, but she’s been very nice and complimentary about Rob R so far btw.

Ronald from Jury Duty or Anthony from Company Retreat would be fun additions to a future cast 🙏

Put Tina Wesson on the traitors and she will be what producers intended Donna Kelce to be

The whole sweet older lady who's actually cutthroat would be the mold that Tina perfectly fits.

She's the first person ever to shift the power structure on Survivor, and the first person to backstab her own alliance member despite being in power, betraying Jerri Manthey and Amber (Rob Mariano's wife)

Tina dominated her season like a mob boss under a southern lady disguise, with the cherry on top being convincing Colby Donaldson to give up a guaranteed win to take her to the end instead (and lose to her)

She returned on All-Stars where she was voted off first due to winning the show, but she returned 10 years later in her 50s where she showed she still had it in her, she ran the premerge and in the merge she won several duels to stay in the game against many young athletic men, and personally eliminated her own daughter, she made it to the F4 and if she won the last immunity she would've been the second person to win Survivor twice

So get her a cloak!! She'd be perfect for the turret being the archetype they intended Donna Kelce to be
