Most people immediately jump to Fat of the Land, but I feel like Jilted Generation is the true soul of The Prodigy. It has that raw, dark, cinematic rave energy that’s so hard to replicate. I’ve just been staring at this cover art yesterday, it perfectly captures how the music feels. Where does this sit in your personal ranking of their albums?

I have had this since the 90's. I bought it from hmv

The Prodigy - 1991-1993 (Part 1)
My The Prodigy vinyl collection from the 1991–1993 era. What’s your favourite track from that period?
More to follow…
The Prodigy - Breathe Drum Cover
Check out more improvised drums @marsin on YouTube.
Absolute maestro on the strings. Gizz brought that proper punk aggression that made the 90s live shows iconic. Best live band ever, period.
NEW YORK OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!
Just found this out from my brother while I was coincidentally watching behind the scenes clips from the Firestarter video, thank you Universe, crying tears of joy right now

Throwing a Hail Mary here
Is anyone selling a 🎫 for less than $165? I’ve been wanting to see them for YEARS now but this economy though. 😅
What’s your favourite track from Invaders Must Die?
I’ve been spinning this RSD remix vinyl today and it’s reminded me just how solid the whole album is. For me, it’s a toss-up between Warrior's Dance and Take Me to the Hospital. They both just have that raw energy that never gets old. What about you lot? Are you more about the big hits like Omen or do you think the title track is still their best opener?
The Prodigy 1996-1999 (Part 3)
This is probably the collection many of you have been waiting for the most!
The Prodigy in the 1996–1999 period were at their loudest and most culturally significant — going from the underground rave scene to global superstar status.
How do you remember that era?
Which tracks have stayed with you?
NOVO SHOW!
I can’t make it to both shows, but I look forward to all my California Warriors having a good time! Massive respect to The Prodigy and Golden voice this past year and taking the time to play shows here in California and The United States!
Massive Respect!
Every live clip I watch just looks absolutely insane in the best possible way. The lights, the energy, the crowd, it never feels like people are just watching a concert, it feels more like complete chaos and everyone’s fully locked into it together. What was the first Prodigy show you ever went to, and did it actually live up to the stories people tell about their live sets?
The Prodigy - 1993-1995 (Part 2)
The period from late 1993 to 1995 for The Prodigy was a transition from their early rave sound to the harder, more distinctive style that made them a worldwide sensation.
This is my favourite era in the band’s history!
I first heard this album in September 1994 on a cassette that a fellow student lent me. Back then, I was a huge Eurodance fan! The moment I heard this music, I fell in love with it from the very first beat!
My Top 5 tracks from that period:
Their Law
Poison
No Good
Voodoo People
One Love
What are your favourite tracks from that era, and when/how did you first discover the band?
Thanks!!!
To be continued…
Liam has distanced himself from this song.
Personally I quite like the track, having said that the rohypnol lyric I’m not a fan of.
Do you think he distanced himself re the rohypnol or he really hates this track?
So we all know that theres now three missing tracks from Experience rumoured to be because of sample licencing issues....so why doesn't Liam just re-record them with the offending samples switched out for similar sounding samples that don't have these issues attached to them?
It's crazy to me that 1/4 of their debut album has just been omitted like that, and it's not even being addressed either? These tracks are very important in the Prodigy's history, and surely there must be a way to bring them back??
