NOVO SHOW!

I can’t make it to both shows, but I look forward to all my California Warriors having a good time! Massive respect to The Prodigy and Golden voice this past year and taking the time to play shows here in California and The United States!

Massive Respect!

So this is a thing that I’ve kind of had a problem with in the prodigy community and I have to ask, where are some of the tracks that were played live one or two times? or at least multiple times? and there’s like absolutely no live crowd recordings whatsoever?!

There is a couple tracks that were played, and there’s like literally no recording of it

Memphis Bells ('05 Edit):

In August 2005, Liam would introduce Memphis bells into the live program, with a few updates. I read reviews of the shows and apparently it sounded awesome and better than the Album version but here’s my issue, theres no recording of it!!! I’ve been requesting a recording of this performance for a long time and you’re telling me nothing has shown up since 2005? Equally frustrating is it was mainly played in the United Kingdom and the UK crowd always record stuff.

Dust Yo’self:

As far as I know this track was mainly a fill and a track at the same time and apparently it had a lot of punky guitars. And people were saying this truck was awesome when they heard it. but again there is no live recording of it and I don’t know why that is. we would’ve had a record of it if Liam played at it at Coachella 2002 which he actually planned to, but for some reason, he skipped it, reason why I know this is because Maxim started saying the lines "Dust Yo’self down son"

Firestarter ('05 Edit - Beta):

If you’re not aware, there’s actually an earlier version of the 2005 live version of firestarter that was played in Birmingham 2004. Apparently some things were different like the rage against the machine sample and that’s like one of the only things but I know there’s more to it. But a caused Liam to do some emergency reprogramming to the track and I think the version they played a couple days later is the version that they will play until December 2005. But again there’s no recording of this and it took place in the United Kingdom!

Heatwave Hurricane:

Yes, I am aware that they’re about three recordings of this track, but they’re kind of dog shit, but it’s still better than nothing. But! A little birdie told me that there is apparently a sound check recording of this track from IOW '06 and that "some" people in the community have it, but I call bullshit and it’s probably all talk without showing proof. But at the end of the day, I’ve been trying to re-create this track accurately for a while now, and I know all the samples, but it would be nice to have a good live recording of it just to see what it actually sounds like and I can most likely try to make it a match.

Gun Reprise ('04 Edit/Osaka Fill):

This version was played I think three times in 2004, and two times in 2005. but only one recording of it exists. Two of the performances take place in the United Kingdom. But it would be nice to hear another recording of this track.

Diesel Power (with Kool Keith on stage) & SMBU

On March 10th, 2005, in Australia. Kool Keith would join the prodigy on stage to perform diesel power and smack live, but there is no recording of it! I would’ve assumed people would’ve scrambled to take out their recording devices or whatever they use and capture a possibly rare moment. But again, there is nothing but only photos!

You probably noticed that a lot of these tracks that have no recordings or little are mainly between 2004-2006 (AONO & THEIR LAW ERA). This is where a lot of the cool tracks come from that we don’t really see anymore and it would be nice for anybody to finally come forward with a recording. I know this is not the place to ask for recordings, but can we just please find these recordings? I know they exist.

But again, why are these so rare when they really shouldn’t be?
And will we ever see these things pop up?
