I started watching The Apothecary Diaries because I saw it ranked high on a lot of anime lists and I’ve only watched a handful of anime’s. I watched the first three episodes and it was ok. But I just watched the 4th episode and wow. It was an amazing episode. If there are more episodes like episode 4, then I get why it is so highly ranked by people.

Hello all! I’m currently writing a cross over fic with the premise of pulling our favorite characters here into the “real world”. And I needed help answering a few questions! (Also heads up, this is cross posted in a few different sub-reddits, so if you feel a question doesn’t apply to the fandom or any of the characters it probably doesn’t and was meant for another fandom)

1. How do you think the characters feel about being “characters”?
2. How do you think they react to any controversy surrounding the fandom? Whether that’s about weird art, bad creators (both content creators and creators of the show/books/ie), shipping wars is up to you.
3. What do you think they react to differentiating laws? Think sex work being illegal, or laws surrounding child labor
4. How do you think they feel about their fandom as a whole?
5. How do you feel they would react to newer (or older) technology?
6. How do you feel they would feel about current-day problems (I would like to note that the story takes place in 2023, so pls keep it to around that time.)
7. If you were their agent (the person who is in charge of housing and making sure they become acclimated to our world) What are some things you would tell them?

I just finished season 2 episode 9 the late emperor

And I am confused about who Jinshi's mother actually is. I know the show, up to this point, hasnt just said what position he is, but we all kinda know, or at least suspect by s2e9. Seeing the relation with the Empress Dowager is convincing. But I thought that he was related to Ah-Duo from season 1. Thats why he was sad at her parting and all that. Maybe I misunderstood that, but I'm lost😅 can someone explain?
