Seats at Globe Life Field that work (and don’t) when the roof is open
A few takeaways that surprised me:
- Only a couple areas are reliable day‑game buys
- A lot of seats that are fine at night are rough early
- Roof open ≠ sun solved

A few takeaways that surprised me:
Have i officially reached unc status?
Not just the final out or the trophy. I want the full experience. Where were you watching, who were you with, what was the moment during the run where you actually started believing it was going to happen? The personal version of the story that the highlights don't show. How did you experience it and what did it mean to you?
JUMPIN OFF THE PORCH LIKE MOM’S NOT HOME
Anyone know the details of the Toy Story night? Beyond a shirt is there anything else like characters there?
Thinking of taking kids to their first ball game and Toy Story is the youngest favorite.

I’ve owned this since probably 2010, and have no idea who actually signed it.
Written in pen on the box is “4-15-09 6-6 Cycle” which would be Ian Kinsler, but this doesn’t look like his auto.
Would love the help if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on who this is!

Remember to sort by new to keep up!
I’ve had this poster for 2 decades now, and I’m kind of curious if anyone thinks it holds any value beyond sentimental reasons. I worked for the rangers official sign company back in the good ol days, and replaced these posters (which were referred to as “ dioramas”) pretty often. I had a couple more, but lost them over the years.
So what do yall think? Personally, if I had the money, I’d love to frame it and hang it up in a man cave, but since I’m poor, that’s not an option.
Been a Rangers fan since I saw my first game in 93 at the Astrodome (an exhibition). Nolan Ryan was pitching. Been a fan ever since, even though I mostly grew up in Western Mass during the peak Red Sox years.
Joc Pederson is one of the first players in my lifetime who I liked before he joined us, lost my mind when we signed him, and... yeah. Hasn't worked out the best. Hoping he can turn it around, but we'll see.
Anybody fit that kind of bill for y'all? Did they turn it around?

Howdy y'all. I decided to be a Rangers fan staring this season because you guys got the deal of the century with Nimmo, giving my former team the Mets a mediocre far-left player in exchange. And DeGrom was missed as well! The heart of the Mets team was ripped out with the terrible personnel decisions made over the offseason by a guy who knows nothing about building a winning team yet got a $50 million/5 years deal to be the "President of baseball operations".... me who is just a casual fan knows more about a winning roster than he does.
I'm sure you all know by now, but Nimmo is possibly the most underrated player in the league. His WAR numbers show his value, and you know what a guy of high character he is, the leadership he shows on the team, etc. To me this is the equivalent of the Mets canning David Wright when he was still playing. Nimmo was the most important Met of this generation.
It gives me a sad pleasure to see the Mets doing so poorly, and I hope they have a terrible season to vindicate what awful moves they made this offseason, and this being the chief among those.
Good luck on another WS!
I feel like every time I get to watch the Rangers, Jung pulls out a multi-hit game. Is he getting back into 2023 form or am I going crazy?
Ian Kinsler goes 6-for-6, scores 5 runs, and hits for the cycle in a 19-6 win over the Orioles
First player since Farmer Weaver 119 years ago to go 6-for-6 and hit for the cycle in a 9-inning game
It was also the first time MLB celebrated Jackie Robinson Day league wide with every player wearing No. 42 a tradition that continues every year
