Pricing Advice

Afternoon everyone,

I had a colleague reach out to me about handling a civil appeal for a small breach of contract case they recently tried.

I haven’t agreed looked at anything yet, but I’m told that the appellant is arguing the evidence was insufficient to justify the economic damages and attorneys fees awarded by the jury.

I’ve done dozens of criminal appeals and consider myself a competent legal researcher and writer. If I accept this, it would be my first civil appeal, though, and I’m not sure what a reasonable price would be. Most every client I have ever worked for previously had been indigent. I want to be fair but I also don’t want to sell myself short.
