So i just bought a hzardous 70g wood shaft and need to be an adpater to put on it to put eventually pair with the r7 mini dirver head. My question is, does the hzardous wood 70g take a .335 adapater, and does a r7 mini take a .335 adapter. I looked at the taylormade website an it says the stock fujikura speeder is a .355.

So, will my newly built hzardous with a .335 adapter have any issues when I go to put the r7 head on it?

So I made the mistake of getting fitted for irons 6 months before starting to work with a coach. I initially got fitted for QI irons with ventus blues and was quite happy with them but after doing some swing work, the lofts are a little strong for my liking and I’m not getting the spin numbers I’d like to see. The coach I’m working with suggested I would be better suited for something like a P790. I’m wondering if I could bend the lofts a couple degrees weaker to achieve something similar without dropping a bag on another new set. Any thoughts?

My kid is being fitted for his irons. He saw the battleworn last year and really liked them. Now he has seen the shadowfall and likes these too. I'm really worried about the shadowfall holding up way way more than the battleworn, if I even considered letting him get either finish. Anyone have the battleworn and how have they held up. I'm assuming the battleworn is a finish applied so eventually the finish will start to wear off and show unfinished surface?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around if I should even let this be a choice.

My Qi10 LS shattered on the range last weekend and Taylormade is going to send me a replacement club. Can I assume they will send me the same club, or will they send me a Qi4D?

I’m trying to custom build the new TaylorMade P790 Shadowfall irons and want to go with a 5-PW setup.

However, in the customization builder it won’t let me de-select the 4-iron (it looks like it’s locked into the set composition).

Is this expected for this release / limited edition Shadowfall build, or is it a website/configurator bug?

For context, I’m trying to build:

• 5-PW iron set only (no 4-iron)

But the system keeps forcing the 4-iron into the set makeup.

Anyone else run into this or know if TaylorMade is intentionally structuring the Shadowfall custom sets this way?

Started playing using the R11s fairway wood (15*) and the 2011 hybrid rescue (18*, 21*, & 23.5*).

Maybe I’m nostalgic or just a geriatric millenial but do wish the white crown was back.

TM….please reintroduce a titanium face (Sim 3 Max for example) with a white crown.

Ami got fitted for these back in 2023 and have just recently started tracking my shots. Anyone else notice a significant gap from 8i to 7i? I track my shots real time with Garmin S70 golf watch so we’re not talking range sessions with Map my Bag, but dozens of rounds over the last year.

For reference I keep a 12-17 yd gap between all my irons except 8i-7i, it’s a 26 yard gap.

Bonus issue… I don’t like my gapping from 50* to PW… anyone else have that issue?

Anyone know how long it takes for a new product to be eligible for discounts? I want to buy the QI4D driver as I get the TCP Graduates discount, but the shadowfall isnt eligible yet.

In the market for new woods and eyeing the shadowfall collection since I’m a big fan of the gloss crown on woods. I prefer tm woods but the Qi4D has the matte crown so I was never really keen on it. I see people saying that it would scratch a lot but would it really be more than the original Qi4D? I know the underside has gloss on both options so would the shadowfall be that much worse?

I bought 3 and 4 QI4D Hybrids from PGA Superstore yesterday and the headcovers are completely identical. I'm assuming that little hanging tag is supposed to have the proper number on it, but both of mine say 3. Either way, those will be kind of obnoxious to search for each time I'm going to pull out a club. I'd much prefer to have a number on top that makes it easy to quickly see and grab the correct club.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to adapt these with a number on top? They are nice head covers, so it would be a shame not to utilize them. Seems like TaylorMade just missed the mark in trying to make them too beautiful rather than functional. Any thoughts or suggestions for how others have addressed this would be appreciated!
