So I made the mistake of getting fitted for irons 6 months before starting to work with a coach. I initially got fitted for QI irons with ventus blues and was quite happy with them but after doing some swing work, the lofts are a little strong for my liking and I’m not getting the spin numbers I’d like to see. The coach I’m working with suggested I would be better suited for something like a P790. I’m wondering if I could bend the lofts a couple degrees weaker to achieve something similar without dropping a bag on another new set. Any thoughts?
