Liars or they are incompetent. Showing stuff as in stock when it’s not

I’ve had multiple orders come through where everything looked normal on my end, item says it’s available, customer checks out, all good… and then the order just doesn’t move.

So I reach out, and every single time it turns out the item wasn’t actually in stock. What’s really getting to me is I’m always the one who has to figure it out. They never message me first. Not once have they taken the initiative to reach out to me and be proactive about the issue. I’ve had to contact support for every order just to get a straight answer.

Earlier this week I even had to get them to cancel part of an order because it wasn’t available at all. Nobody told me, I just noticed it wasn’t progressing and had to chase it down. The same thing is happening with other products too, including one that THEy literally just launched. That’s the part I don’t get. How is something brand new already unavailable but still showing as in stock?

At this point, I’ve canceled around 10 orders just so customers don’t get stuck waiting around, which obviously sucks because that’s money gone and it makes my brand look bad. I’ve been dealing with smaller issues like this since October, but lately it feels like it’s happening way more often.

TAPSTITCH DROP SHOPPING

HI all

I have ordered multiple times from tapstitch to test out their quality and delivery and have been nothing but impressed.

I'm debating on whether or not connecting my shopify store to tapstitch to sell my products. Has anyone tried this? How is their dropshipping? Is it quick, do customers like it. Pros Cons - appreciate any feedback thanks

Upsetting Store Launch due to stock issues

After spending 1.3k on samples and scraping the whole site for the best fitting tee for my target audience Tapstitch let me down on Launch Day. First order came in and things were looking good, several items in the order went to production right away. Had a few more orders come in and they all went straight to production. Now as other orders started shipping prior to the first order, I figure something must be wrong so I reach out. The rep tells me that the shirt is out of stock and has a 2 week lead time on restocking. Now the problem is, I designed every Tee-Shirt in the line on that silhouette because it was one of the very few that were not oversized. So now my store just launched its day 3 and I have no tees for the collection.
