Samsung UA55D6600 sudden lines on screen

My TV suddenly got these lines on screen. It's been there for maybe a month now but it's gotten a lot thicker and the fainter bands are new. What could be the issue here? I purchased a spare T con board in case that was the issue. Saw online that it could also be the flexible connectors inside getting loose. Would me constantly moving the TV around cause this?

How screwed am I?

Possible backlight issue?

I have a 2019 LG TV. Model 65UM6950DUB. It has a blue-ish tint going on. Other than that it works fine. Simple fix? Worth repairing? Any insight is appreciated!

LG QNED Back Panel Removal

Does anyone know how on earth to remove the back panel from my LG 50QNED70A6A TV? Or at least point me in the direction of something that could tell me. I’m thoroughly confused there doesn’t seem to be a single screw hole I can’t even figure out how to remove the legs.

Brand New Google TV stuck in Boot Loop :(

So basically I’m based in Singapore and recently got a brand new Prism+ Q43 Ultra Google TV. I’m bit of an OCD so I would clear any bloatware I could on any new devices. Yesterday after getting my new TV i came across this app called ADB App Control where you can uninstall the bloatware and I even brought the pro version to try it.

The pro version had this detect bloatware button my dumba** clicked it and deleted EVERYTHING it has *detected* as bloatware including some system files.

After which my TV worked fine but after a restart that’s where the horror happens. Now my brand new TV is stuck in a bootloop and i’m 1000% sure is due to the files i have uninstalled with ADB App

However, due to the TV being a local brand, I’m unable to get any details online on how to get into the android recovery mode to do the factory reset. I tried most of the methods i found online including doing a complete power cycle turning off the TV for 30 mins and also holding the power button and turning on the TV at the same time and also pressing volume down button and turning on TV but all with no avail.

Anyone can suggest what could make this china branded TVs be able to get into andriod recovery mode will truly save my day…

Thank you very much in advance.

Aiwa Smart TV turns on, no image, only sound

Aiwa Smart TV model AWS-TV-50-BL-01 turns on but has no image, only sound.

My brother was using the TV, when, according to him, the image disappeared out of nowhere. It turns on, along with what I assume are the backlights, along with the sound working perfectly, but no image whatsoever.

I tried:

Unplugging the power, waiting 10 minutes, and plugging it back in;

Changing the source of the image with the source button;

Hitting every button on the controller until some sort of HUD appeared (none did).

Here is a picture of the TV turned off, and the TV turned on with what I *assume* is the backlight lit

Toshiba 50C350NU, just went white in the middle of a show.

Can still see the image and hear the audio clearly, everything is just white. Any ideas?

Google says Tcon board, but I don't see one (or know what I'm looking at).

I have this 65 inch tv I got for free. Are the backlights supposed to be this color? When using the tv it was purple/blue tinted on everything. I tried hdmi ports and changing color settings which didn’t help at all. Are the backlights the issue?

Is this worth repairing?

Wife left a candle under the tv. Got a nice round yellow circle on the bottom of the tv now. If you turn off the tv you can see the spot but it’s not super noticeable. Just curious if I’m SOL or if I have a chance to get this repaired. This is a Hisense ULED U7, 75 inch. Was $1,000.

I found a 4yo tv by the trash - I understand why. When i try to power on, it lights up for less than a second, then immediately goes black. I've tried a factory reset/power cycle; no dice. The logo appears very dimly and can be seen with a flashlight on boot. So my idiot question: does anything in the boards look suspicious, or is it the LED backlights? It's $40 for a new power supply board, $40 for new backlights, and totally free to just throw it back from whence it came, but I'd really rather not (e)waste it if I can give it new life. Obviously swapping the board is way easier than the leds, but the led work may be over my time/patience limit. Fwiw its a 2023/4 Insignia ns-55f301na22 - would appreciate insight/advice!

Broken LED backlight connector on TV while replacing strips — need help

TV model :LG 55LB7200
Hey everyone, I’m trying to replace the LED backlight strips in my TV, but I broke the connector while working on it. I’m pretty new to this, but I do have some tools and I’d like to try fixing it myself if possible.
From what I can tell, it looks like a multi-pin connector on the backlight harness/LED strip. I’m not sure of the exact name for it, so I’m having trouble finding the right replacement part.
What would be the proper way to repair this?

Samsung S90C 83 inch OLED TV QN83S90CAEXZA has some flickering issues where the picture flickers and sometimes goes black for a few seconds.

I eliminated the possibility of it being the video source. The video here shows the issue while in the self diagnoses screen so it seems to be a hardware or software issue.

Any ideas what could be the culprit and if it's fixable? Sadly, it's out of warranty. TIA

My NU8000 has developed this discoloured green spot in the middle of the screen. Any ideas as to what causes this/how to fix? It’s definitely out of warranty now so I’m open to trying anything myself to get it working properly again, it’ll be a project for me. Thanks!

Make - Toshiba
Model - 50UA3D63DB

So my parents TV started showing vertical lines and I think it’s the TCON board so have decided to try and fix rather than replace to save them some money.

I am really struggling to find the right replacement part and nothing is very clear on the TCON board. I’ve added some pics of the make and model of TV but would appreciate if anyone can advise on the exact board I need to buy. ChatGPT told me it’s VES600UNDB N2 N41 TCON but I can’t find this online.

I did buy a replacement from EBay but the board was bigger and the ribbons did not line up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Hey guys, we have a tv that seems to have backlight issues. Ive done multiple back lights and board replacements but this tv seems to have the panel taped to the chassis.
Looks like a foam tape all around the display panel, the backing diffusers for the backlights seem to be able to slip upwards. In the 3rd and 4th photo you can see the tape.

My questions are what is the best way to cut this tape without potentially shattering the panel, and also what tape is used so I can secure the panel back on after?
