Hey everyone,

I’m running into buffering issues with larger streams and can’t figure out what’s bottlenecking.

Setup:

Device: Xiaomi Mi Box S (3rd Gen) app 1 . 6 . 12

Internet: ~300 Mbps on the box (tested), though my connection can do ~900–950 Mbps

Apps/services: Torbox + AIOSstreams with Comet + Debridio + Jacketio + Stremthrutorz

Problem:

Smaller streams work fine

When I try larger files (around 60GB+), I start getting buffering

It’s not constant, but frequent enough to be annoying

Does anyone know what stremio's email is? I keep getting emails about a password reset but im pretty sure its a pishing email. The email i get it from is support@strem.io

I want to be able to view trailers but none of the addons I’ve tried work for fire tv (strealier and YouTubeTrailer add on).

Also, when I click the normal trailer button it just tries to play it within the stremio app and nothing plays.

This is such an important feature to have because it’s so hard to pick content based on titles alone.

For reference I am using AIOstreams from one of the pinned guides here

I don't know what is it, downloaded stremio and addons just today. Some live streams are working and some aren't.

Those which aren't, show "Switching to LibVLC due to a playback error" and then simply stop to load.

How to tackle and resolve this issue?

Some videos just show a “source not supported” message and send me back to the source list. Others do open, but then stay loading forever. What’s confusing is that this happens even when there are plenty of seeders or when I’m using Torbox sources, and I’m a Torbox subscriber.

For context, I use Google DNS on my Mi Box and AdGuard DNS on my phone, so I don’t think it’s just a simple DNS problem.

Has anyone else seen this? I’m trying to figure out if it’s Stremio, Torbox, or something on my setup.

Hi all!

I just found out about Stremio and I’m loving it.

I can get it to work via desktop app on my computer but not on my Hisense TV, it says Video not supported or similar when I try to play a video.

I downloaded the Stremio Lite app via Vidaa Store and did the login. I have Torrenti

Am I missing something or it can’t work on Hisense?

Thinking of moving away from my other streaming app to stremio full time. but one thing that's stopping me is list management on the home screen. From what I can tell stremio puts both movies and tv together on home screen. Is there an addon or something that allows you to create different tabs you can place different lists in so you can sort content? For example all movies on one tab and all TV on the other.

I have my pc pugged into my Denon w 5.1 speakers, Stremio player plays 5.1 files (passtrough) on pc the way it does on Samsung tv Tizen ?

Can yall help me out i wanna get stremio on my phone but idk how and i want to make sure all my plugins are in there. Any help will be greatly appreciated

What's the best setup for Stremio? What are the top addons and cleanest way to get the best experience?

Am I going crazy, or is it possible that stremio is sharing episode completion data with Amazon prime?

I was watching some episodes of a new season on my phone. While I do have prime, my phone was disconnected from it. As I didn't remember the password I just decided to watch on stremio anyway.

I get back to the TV, that's logged into prime, and lo and behold, it appears as I'd watched both the first episode and part of the second, and it was quite close to the time it was stopped on stremio. I really don't remember opening them in prime, and even if I did, I'd probably only open the second one, as the first I had already finished on stremio.

Has anyone seen something like this?
