Brooos. My first 2011 and going to be a duty weapon and I picked her up today! Bad news I stripped one of the bolts on the baseplate trying to put a red dot on! So off to a gun smith and I also couldn’t for the life of me field strip the thing. I got a plastic punch coming to see if I can get that ambi slide stop out. End of rant! Super excited to shoot!
So the C2 was my first ever Staccato and loved that thing. A bit after I bought the C2 I also got a C24 but sold that to get into a C3.6 with x serrations. Eventually Sold the C2 to get a HD P4. Now that I just recently sold my P4, I picked up an XC and have been carrying that. Haven’t really picked up the C3.6 since. Something in me is telling me to sell the HD 3.6 and get back into a C2 with dlc and x serrations. Has anyone gone back to the C2 after the HD c3.6 and not regretted it? I just really like the look of the C2 and feel like that’s a perfect “do all” gun
Just got my Liberty II shield. Looks good, but the notch for the buttons doesn't line up very good.
I know the Acro gets a lot of hate for looking like a mailbox, but I love it lol.
Got this XC with 4 mags and a 1.0 MOA SRO for a steal at $3500. I had to bring her home to meet my Athena.
Any suggestions for upgrades? Already ordered a light and holster
Those of you using HDs with the factory magwell what base pad extensions are you using on the factory Mecgar mags? Want to pick some up but want to make sure they are compatible with the magwell.
This is Benny — 13-week male Cane Corso, service dog in training for a retired, service-connected U.S. Navy veteran.
He's been on the ground since 10 weeks. Three controlled live-fire exposure sessions at a private range before his first visit to an active public range at 13 weeks — rifles and pistols, multiple shooters, full chaos. He was completely unbothered. Solicited tummy rubs from strangers mid-session while the range was hot.
We're documenting everything — milestones, behavioral observations, weight and growth, training partners, and the clinical framework behind the program — at bennyclinical.com/benny.
Happy to be here. Corso people know what this breed is. Looking forward to the community.
The tiny screws that hold the Rear sight onto the slide on The STI H.O.S.T. Tactical model are stripped out. Anyone have any clue what the specs on those screws are?
The attached picture shows the screws in question.
Any help in finding the specs and/or the screws would be greatly appreciated.
Staccato/STI has been no help....
Has anyone here ran a Parker Mountain Machine (PMM) comp on a DSC Gunworks threaded barrel for the Staccato C (2024)?
I’m trying to figure out if the PMM comp actually fits well on the DSC threaded barrel, how the overall fitment is (flush look, timing, reliability, etc.), and how it shoots compared to other comp setups.
I’m debating whether to go this route or just bite the bullet and pay Staccato around $800 to have them fit a factory threaded barrel.
The main reason I’m considering the DSC barrel is so I can keep my original Staccato barrel untouched and also avoid paying that much, but I don’t want to sacrifice performance or deal with fitment issues if it’s not completely dialed in.
Anyone here have real experience running this setup? Would you recommend it, or is it better to just go factory?
Finally able to purchase the QVO X mainspring housing for my CS after three months of waiting for a restock. Worth it. This absolutely transformed the way the gun feels and shoots. I went from a 2–3 inch group to a 1‑inch group at 10 yards, and it feels so much more secure in the hand. Honestly, I’m surprised how much of a difference it made, but I’m so glad I got talked into trying this instead of converting to the full‑size grip from the C. To everyone who recommended this to me in my last post, thank you!
Purchased a new C and when I got it, I noticed the trigger guard sleeve and screws can wiggle back and forth with zero effort and with the screws as tight as I can get them. I actually attempted to tighten it when I first got it and one of the screw heads snapped off. I contacted Staccato and they sent me replacement screws and sleeve for free. I just got them today and after installing them, the issue is the same. I called Staccato back and the rep advised that I should start a warranty claim due to it being a new gun that’s never been fired and having this issue. Before I did that, I wanted to check with the people here and see if they had any similar issues and what they do to fix it. I just don’t want to go through the hassle of sending it in if it’s something simple that I can do.
Ran drills on the 4.5 in moderate to heavy rain for a few hours today while other 2011s hid in the crate. Caught up on some owed cleaning when I got home. The 4.5 has exceeded expectations for me, reached the 2k mark, only took 3 weeks on this one.
First Staccato. Looking forward to using it for a class this upcoming week. Took just over a month from ordering. DLC barrel and flat 3.5 aluminum trigger.
Started with a Platypus Comp, then a Kimber 2k11 Pro Comp - love both of those guns. But really wanted a non comped 2011 and decided to go with a classic P. Makes a strong first impression for sure. I managed to just about strip the screws for the 507C with a torque wrench lol.
