He reached out to me in my DM’s selling Wembys and gave me a price for all, and I paid. Three days later he tells me to file a claim for a refund because he is not selling now, his cards went up in value. After some stupid back and forth he wanted $20 more, so I paid it. Said I would have tracking a week ago, then it would ship Wednesday, then he had a family issue, then he was sick, but it would be shipped Saturday. Well, now he hasn’t responded in three days.

Looks like I am filing a claim after all.

Sent payment 5/3 for a Caleb Williams Kaboom. Said he couldn’t ship until 5/6. Also said he could only do Venmo since his PayPal had issues. Guess that was the first red flag. Messaged for tracking 5/6 was promised it would be sent out 5/7z messages on 5/7 and 5/8 with no response.

This user offered to sell me 12 Matthew Stafford chrome base buybacks. I paid him $130, and he gave me a tracking number, but the tracking number didn't work. Things started to sound strange (this started last Tuesday, April 28) when he then claimed he included some more expensive cards which he hadn't coined at all, and would I pay him more for those. I said no, and repeated that the tracking number he sent me didn't work AND additionally the name on the paypal account didn't match the return address of the shipping. He claimed it was his roommate who had a printer and he didn't. I stayed civil with him and asked him to check with the post office where he's dropped it. He kept saying he would, but never did. Today I reached my breaking point because it's been nearly a week. I'll include our correspondence in comments.

When I put in a paypal dispute I received a message from the account I was told to send money to, claiming "I didn't sell anything! Someone on reddit asked me to use my paypal account, and that he'd send me money on cashapp". I have no reason to believe this is even true.

I'm continuing to pursue getting my money back.

We agree on $180 shipped for a davante adams downtown card. He then proceeds to ask if i can send him $18 extra to help with shipping. I decline as i’ve been scammed on the past with this exact same thing before, and we literally just agreed on $180 shipped, as he said. Then we settle on a refund that he says he can send, it’s been 3 days and no refund has happened and he hasn’t responded to me either, while still making posts.

Don’t be dumb like me - do your research. This user contacted me directly with Rangers baseball cards. 🚩 Made a deal, doesn’t have Venmo and can’t get into PayPal. Has to be Zelle. 🚩 contacted me the next morning to add on some pricier cards, but I passed.

Then … nothing. Hasn’t responded to multiple messages, cards haven’t arrived, no proof of shipping. And the Zelle account I paid? Magically disappeared.

Only out $45 but hate being scammed.

I bought a card off u/Savings_Step3113 back in December. When I reached out about buying another card a few months later I realized the first card never arrived. He claimed his mail was being stolen and offered to send a new card. That card never arrived and he promised to send a second card. 5 months later I still have no cards no refund and no updates after being promised and he’s still posting cards for sale often.

I give a lot of grace to folks and understand people get busy etc. but for 5 months to go by and multiple promises of fulfillment and zero communication, it’s frustrating. Buyer beware.

Mods- not allowing me to post proof photos

This person purchased a card from me on February 9th, 2026.

I packed and sent the card. I then provided them tracking.

They did not follow up with me at all or message me, despite me asking them to confirm they received the card. Tracking shows it arrived on February 13th.

I randomly check my email this afternoon and see that there was a dispute filed at 12:42pm against me from this person and at 1:00pm it was resolved in my favor.

I saw this all over 2 hours later.

It seems this person was trying to pull a fast one and hoped PayPal would resolve in their favor and they would have the card and their money back a few months later.

It did not.

Exercise caution with this individual.

He messaged me after he read my post about being scammed...& hooked me, my son & my buddy who lost his wife up with cards FOR FREE!

He didnt charge ANYTHING!. Literally out of the goodness of his heart he did something amazing for us. I paid for shipping because thats the least I could do.

Gave us 3 Otani cards, Ravens cards & Orioles cards....& one of the Orioles was a patch card!

Blow away at his kindness. 10/10 gentleman.

I made a separate negative review against this scammer on another account already. The other user was u/Head-Transition-1530. As you can see in the picture I’ll be posting below, they have the some of the exact same cards and pictures in the posts, and he has just been screenshotting different card posts on Reddit and posting them on his page saying they’re for sale. Also, we agreed for $1,020 on a Mike Evan’s gold uptown card a few weeks ago, I sent the money, and then a couple hours pass, and he said he “sent the wrong PayPal on accident,” so he then refunds me, which I was surprised to see. I’m guessing he realized I sent goods and services and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of his PayPal getting a strike when I was going to dispute. If you’ve made any deal with this scumbag, just go ahead and dispute and get your money back.

Stopped responding after money was sent. Stated they were house sitting for a friend but would ship when they got home Saturday.

After multiple attempts to contact them with no response, I initiated PayPal G&S refund. The claim was closed in my favor and refunded in full
