I recently tested this at Sephora and absolutely fell in love with it, however since $50 for a lotion is diabolical I'm still contemplating whether or not to bite the bullet and purchase it and in the meantime I'd love to hear some reviews about it -

As in, how long does it last and does it actually do anything for the skin? Since tested it on my palm in the store and as a result it wore off pretty quickly. Also, I live in a very hot area so I'm worried that the weather combined with the heavy fragrance will result in irritated skin.

Also, how is the spray version of 91? Bcs none of my local stores have it yet and I tend to stay away from the mists in general bcs a mini version of the 71 I was gifted a year back was oddly alcoholic and maceration didn't fix it.

About a month ago, I was in a perfume store and decided to smell all sol de janeiro sprays because I had been wanting one for years so why not.

All of them smelled like straight up chemicals. 40 specificaly smelled like only chemicals, not in a "chemical version of a scent" way.

Was there something wrong with the testers? The only 2 sprays that didn't smell like chemicals were the limited edition lemonade one and 71, though 71 was on the verge of also smelling like chemicals. I ended up getting the lemonade one. But even around a month later I'm still confused.

So my question is, was something wrong with the testers? Because if not, I can't imagine anyone liking these scents.

ik it’s the same scent but the 90ml bottles say 87 & the ones that come in 240ml are labeled as rio radiance. did they just change their packaging for the 240ml bottles?

I see 39 is back on Sephora Canada after months of not showing up, but it says new and limited edition. Is this not back permanently? Will it be back every summer then as a limited seasonal release?

Hi , I wanted to know if the Glow Body oil is good? I wanted to get it because I love the 62 scent and love glowing. I usually use Patrick ta oil and tom ford and love it so much but don’t feel like paying those prices rn. Is the sol de janerio oil good? Does it last long? I wanted to get it in the bronze shade. Does the “glow” stay? Thank you 🩷

Hello friends, a random question for those of you who have 87. I’ve read a couple of comments online - probably here 😂 - saying that 87 has a green tea/matcha note in it. I would love if this were true as my years-long matcha obsession is reaching a fever pitch and I have about 17 million points on the SdJ website to use. I’ve smelled 87 briefly in Ulta but never actually tried it on skin.

So what’s your opinion - is 87 just straight sunscreen or is there a green tea note in it as well? 🍵

i’ve been wanting to try it but i’m not sure if i should buy it, considering it’s such a different scent from my collection and preferences. so i like fresh, oceanic, aquatic/fruity, tropical/ LOVE coconut!! and just like clean, simple scents, i tend to stay away from the super sweet, sugary scents.

i don’t go for gourmands. however, i have expanded my preferences a little. from sdj, i wear flor mistica often, 87 is a favorite, and 62 is one i actually do love a lot! 40 is one i like, but it can be a bit too heavy. i do like the smell of vanilla extract, and im wondering if 59 is anything like that? if not, how does it compare to the sweetness of 62? cause that’s something i do like and don’t mind wearing, so if 59 is like that, id definitely be up to try it.

Please can someone help me find a dupe for the cheirosa ‘62 but specifically the eau de parfum not the body mist, because they smell different.

It is probably my favorite scent I’ve ever smelt but the full size is only 1.7 oz and $80, so it doesn’t last long and it’s expensive to keep replacing. I’m looking for a dupe I can use everyday to save the real thing for special occasions.

Pls can someone help bc I adore this scent, I literally spray my room with it because it smells so good!
