Zwan box when?
Billy mentioned three years ago that he was working on a box set. Any update? Last I saw was his article on Stereogum.

appreciation post for “One Moment”
well, make no mistake about it at all, this is the BEST song on the Machina 48 album true BC approved release. 48 songs and this flawless masterpiece stands out completely and totally to me.
these lyrics are so amazing. and the instrumental is so ominous and beautiful. i just don’t get how he managed to do all of this. 48 songs. all of the extras. Mellon collie and the 900 other songs that didn’t make the album. i really don’t ever say it because i know it’ll get me blocked if i message him but he is truly one of the most talented individuals to ever grace this planet. and his music blesses my ears
“i trust no religion beyond you and me. i accept no decision within my mortal reach. but you and i no younger now than secrets left to tell. i’m praying for the strength to will one moment greater than myself.” this is so fucking amazing. i will always say that the Machina stuff is absolutely the apex predator of SP’s discography and BC’s career. the scope of it all and the fact that it’s the greatest ______ the name of what this type of album is called escapes me rn but whatever that is it’s the best.
also, this run of lyrics in Soot + Stars is so good. “i’ll often speak of you
but the you was always me
'cause when i speak of me
it’s me i ask of you”. i don’t even have the words to describe how amazing this is.
also YET ANOTHER PROMISE!! is beautiful. such a good instrumental. and God’s Promise… i just love this album so much.
For the last year I was wrong about the Rocket intro effect chain

Jimmy on Smashing Pumpkast
2 hours of greatness. Still one of the best Jimmy Interviews. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-smashing-pumpkast/id1508013329
Do you prefer their grunge hippie era or their goth vampire era more?
Name one bad Smashing Pumpkins guitar solo. You can't.
That's it. That's the post.
Long Interview with Jimmy Chamberlin
Jimmy Chamberlin: Smashing Pumpkins Drummer, Mellon Collie, Siamese Dream, Making Hits, Philosophy.
Thought for sure this would be already posted but I didn't see it.
I thought it was a great interview. There are some gems in here for Smashing Pumpkins' fans. Jimmy talks a lot about the chemistry with Billy, recording specific songs, playing live, and lots of other stuff. He seems very insightful about what made the Pumpkins' magic.
So Billy is a Franz Kafka fan?
Anybody know anything about his tastes in literature or reading in general?
Every The Smashing Pumpkins album ranked from worst to best
loudersound.comAnyone know anything about these?
I get an eBay notification when 'gish sessions vinyl' gets listed because I'm still on the lookout for that bootleg. This morning these two showed up. Clicked on it and the items had ended. Even though it's a pre-order. I'm guessing maybe it was an embargoed release that was put up early accidentally? I have both the original Peel Sessions and Lull ep on vinyl already but these look cool - just wondering if they are official, bootleg or not meant to be announced yet.

Why are y'all like that
In other band's communities, I see people loving and hating every album, it's like each era of the band has a particular group of fans and even the worst albums have people who love them. But I don't see that here, everything after Mellon Collie is treated like trash, and I feel like people don't even bother listening to the albums, if it doesn't sound like Siamese Dream, it's the worst thing it ever happened to music.
I acknowledge that the reunion era has had some questionable artistic outputs, but why is everyone so lame and hating on every new release
