Would you ever do rev-share instead of sponsorships?

Not sure if this is dumb, but I've been going back and forth with this idea…

I've been talking to a few SaaS founders recently and a lot of them basically can't afford any kind of influencer deal early on. At the same time, I see smaller creators grinding and not really making much from their content yet.

So I was thinking - does revenue share actually make sense here?

Like instead of getting paid upfront, you'd earn based on the users you bring in. I can't tell if this is actually a win-win or just sounds better in theory.

Would you even consider something like this or nah?

Into travel niche with 300 subscribers. Should I be doing video collabs with other channels to have better reach? YouTube seem to push my short videos but not long ones! Thoughts?

Should I start a channel in a proven niche or try a new idea?

Hey everyone, I want to start a new channel, and I’m stuck between two options: choosing an existing niche or trying a completely new idea.

I came up with a channel idea in a niche that I find really interesting, but as far as I know, no one has done it before. Because of that, I’m not sure whether it will work.

What do you think is better when starting out: picking a niche that already has an audience, or trying something more original and unique?

Been studying why some Shorts blow up and others get zero views — what's your experience?

I've been obsessing over YouTube Shorts analytics for the past few months and noticed something interesting — two identical clips, completely different view counts, and the only real difference was the title.

One was vague ("My morning routine"), one was specific ("Morning routine that helped me lose 8kg without gym"). Same clip. The specific one got 14x more views.

Made me realise the algorithm uses your title to categorise who to show it to. Vague title = no category = no distribution.

Curious if anyone else has noticed this? What's the biggest thing that changed your Shorts performance? Genuinely trying to understand what works and what doesn't.

Collateral damage in the ai crackdown

I believe the algorithm tagged my most recent mix as ai. Context: i repurposed an old dormant channel to be a song edits and beat channel a few months ago. I’ve only just started posting my song remixes but the first one (posted a few days ago) is naturally gaining some traction from a relatively decent initial push and then getting to the suggested videos index. However, my latest mix has the red flags ive seen recently across my other channels where there’s no organic movement after the first few hours (and now we’re at 14 hours since posting and still nothing). Usually when this happens on my other channels, I’ll be able to figure out what the yt sensors are flagging, tweak the ‘problematic’ area in the short or video, and reupload and that typical initial push starts. But with this recent upload, after doing some investigating the only thing i can really think the problem is, is that in yt’s obliteration of ai content, the algorithm has mistakenly DOA’d my video because it believes the audio is like one of those ai Eminem jazz remix type videos ugh so frustrating especially since there’s no quick fix this time. I have a short i have scheduled for today that will hopefully lead to some organic traction to the mix and override whatever detection system is stopping it from reaching a wider audience but just really disappointing all around.

I need some help with my content

I'm a spanish gaming themed proto-youtuber(191 subs but only 2-3 active) and I don't know what to do right now. I don't recive feedback of any type so I dont know what areas to improve. My videos hardly get 30 views and the average watch time is about 1:30 on 15 minute videos.
