Collateral damage in the ai crackdown

I believe the algorithm tagged my most recent mix as ai. Context: i repurposed an old dormant channel to be a song edits and beat channel a few months ago. I’ve only just started posting my song remixes but the first one (posted a few days ago) is naturally gaining some traction from a relatively decent initial push and then getting to the suggested videos index. However, my latest mix has the red flags ive seen recently across my other channels where there’s no organic movement after the first few hours (and now we’re at 14 hours since posting and still nothing). Usually when this happens on my other channels, I’ll be able to figure out what the yt sensors are flagging, tweak the ‘problematic’ area in the short or video, and reupload and that typical initial push starts. But with this recent upload, after doing some investigating the only thing i can really think the problem is, is that in yt’s obliteration of ai content, the algorithm has mistakenly DOA’d my video because it believes the audio is like one of those ai Eminem jazz remix type videos ugh so frustrating especially since there’s no quick fix this time. I have a short i have scheduled for today that will hopefully lead to some organic traction to the mix and override whatever detection system is stopping it from reaching a wider audience but just really disappointing all around.

The ai writing thing is trash

Idc how many times it will be said, let it be said to the end of time that ai writing is garbage. Basura. Cheeks.

And the absolute worst offenders are the ones who do a dead copy and paste, no edits. Like we can’t tell that random bold paragraph doesn’t read like an ai got its grubby little code all over it..no one types like that brother.

The only positive is ai stopping its excessive use of em dash—i love (never knowing how to properly) em dash

The algorithm is rough

Quick vent about the content evaluation system:

Just been frustrated at the amount of times ive needed to delete and reupload shorts and longform videos recently because the algorithm’s behind the scenes checks essentially make the content DOA. The way my channel(s) typically work is that, if there is no noticeable traction within the first 2-3 hours of an upload it’s generally a red flag sign that the content was pretty much not at all indexed and then i can confirm that from usually seeing single digit impressions, or the couple of views obviously just being from me.

The next step is asking the ai what the problem is and a few issues its caught:

-potential for inciting violence lol

-potential for epilepsy triggers due to too fast cuts

-potentially provocative content (even though i’m literally just using gifs from a music video with millions of plays)

In every instance i make the fix, do the reupload, and it starts moving almost immediately like expected so generally its fine and is just more of a minor inconvenience/ speed bump, but in the most recent instance of this happening its a little more frustrating because there is no easy fix for this one

Anyone else running into this?
