What’s more likely a Sly Trilogy remake or Sly 5?
Both are probably never being made but if Suckerpunch decided to do another Sly game

Ever since I found out Murray was originally supposed to be Bi, I’ve been thinking about which male character in the franchise could be a good love interest for him. The Carmelita and Penelope to his Sly and Bentley, if you catch my drift.
And I don’t know why, I don’t know what brain worm is possessing me to think this, I know I’m going to get a dozen comments saying ‘What the actual hell is wrong with you?’
But I keep mentally picturing Murray hooking up… with Inkspot Jackson.
Don’t remember him? I’m not surprised. He’s one of the generic guards in the Muggshot level of Sly 1. The Dalmatian who throws cards at you. You only ever learn his name through the Binoc-U-Com dossiers.
I don’t know, the idea first came to me when I remembered that Murray moved to America post-Sly 3, and I like the idea of Murray hooking up with a former enemy, but not a high-profile one. Just a random mook that Sly might have brained with his cane that one time, but Inkspot didn’t take it personally, and now he and Murray are ‘very good friends’ who run an autoshop in Mesa City together.
No but seriously, what is he actually saying? lol
I have the Sly Collection on the PS3 (yes, very old, I bought them on the PS store a long time ago and replay them from time to time) and I'm wondering how I can actually replay the STORY missions, starting from episode 1 all the way to the end, WITH the mega jump gadget enabled. Now currently there is no way to do this on the base PS3 and base version of this game here. The "restart level" cheat does not reset the missions but rather just teleports you to the safe house. I want to be able to do the MISSIONS with the mega jump enabled. Since it requires 100% completion to even work, I figure there are 2 ways to go about this:
1.) Keep the 100% save file and somehow get the game to restart the missions using some software on jailbroken PS3
OR
2.) Start a fresh save but use some software to enable mega jump even without having the 100%
I do not have my PS3 jailbroken yet but I know its not too difficult and I have jailbroken samsung phones before so I figure it can't be much harder. I have a laptop that I can use to download any files I need and a thumb drive to get it onto the PS3.
I cannot, for the life of me, find anyone who has actually answered this or explained how to do it. No youtube tutorials and nothing on this or any other subreddit comes up with real answers, just people who say "you should really play it normally", well bub I have played it normally, hundreds of times literally since I was a little kid. Now I want to use mega jump on Dimitri's ass and I can't do it because the devs were super lame and forced this 100% completion BS.
Please, someone walk me through how I can do this.
I know the game spoke about his father and his friend in Sly 2 or 3 but I've always wanted to know more about his parents.
Which first level did you fancy the most?? I think Venice will carry the day.
Let me start by saying I love the Sly games, but don’t you think that, especially in Sly 2 and 3, the early missions are a bit too much like tutorials? Not to mention the useless hazard room in sly 3, and that, in general, Bentley gives a bit too many hints – if I see a laser, there’s no need for you to tell me not to walk over it.
It feels as though the game doubts your ability to press two buttons. Playing them again today, after numerous playthroughs over the years, these things are a bit annoying.
Took me all day but I finally finished the gang 🦝🐢🦛🐨🐁🐼🦎
I’ve been constantly looking for games that give me the same type of feeling as the Sly Cooper series. I just played the first part of Mouse PI for Hire and this game definitely gives me that feeling. My only wish for this game is that it had third person view. I know this is a Sly thread but just wanted to put it out there if anyone is looking for a game with the same type of feel, or if anyone else has played already, what are your thoughts so far
Sly Cooper is my favorite video game franchise, I've played it when I was 14-19. Now I'm 29 and revisited the games and it's just been such a blast. I have a feeling I'll come back to these games until I die. They just speak to me in a way no other games did. I will rank the episodes by how much I've been enjoying them (story, design, music, missions, enemies, final heists, gameplay, vibe, everything). Worth mentioning that there is no bad Sly Cooper episode for me, so the lowest ranked are still good in my opinion.
MASTERPIECE:
1. The Black Chateau (absolute class)
2. He Who Tames the Iron Horse (the stealthy train missions alone...)
3. A Tangled Web (Contessa might be the best Sly villain, and the castle's vertical design is so fun for platforming)
4. Flight Of Fancy (loved the character interactions and the map is extremely cozy)
5. A Starry-Eyed Encounter (just a wonderful vibe, the tuxedo mission, dancing, final heist...)
6. An Opera of Fear (Venice, the gondolas, masquerading as guards, Carmelita...)
7. Jailbreak (character arc, cool prison, eerie vibes, a prime example of how soulful these games are)
8. Sunset Snake Eyes (I like poker and this reminds me of poker, great colors in this one, the levels on rooftops...)
9. Honor Among Thieves (the Cooper vault... elite)
AMAZING:
10. A Cold Alliance (General Tsao is a hoot, epic boss fight, cool character development from Sly and Panda King)
11. Tide of Terror (just a great and classic showcase of platforming)
12. The Cold Heart of Hate (I LOVE this one, so grand and cinematic, I just wished it had a couple more of platforming parts since the ones we've got are so unbelievably awesome, still fantastic)
13. Menace from the North, eh? (the atmosphere, the Northern Lights, how sneaky you feel on some missions inside the houses... the Jean Bison episodes really do it for me regarding stealth, you just jump around in a room filled with guards, and no one notices, I love that... Sly 2 did that the best)
14. Anatomy for Disaster (the sinister vibe is second to none and I think that bleakness and hopelessness sells it for me, it really reflects the position they're in, if only the missions were just a bit better, more memorable... still, an amazing time)
GREAT:
15. Fire in the Sky (pretty design and cool platforming, easy boss fight but kinda memorable because of the camera angle and how huge of a threat Panda King seems to be... has every ingredient for it to be amazing, but for some reason it just doesn't reach it for now)
16. The Predator Awakes (fantastic missions and story line, considered putting it higher, I just don't think the hub looks that good, I appreciate the damp, hazy esthetic, but sometimes it feels too washed out and low contrast, this one I always change my mind on... on some days I think I would put it in amazing because of the fun missions and great plot progression, it's just not eye candy)
17. Dead Men Tell No Tales (love LeFwee and I like the ship missions and the pirate talk, even if they feel kinda gimmicky for Sly... I think that's the main reason it's not amazing, it's the most gimmicky, "out of character" episode in Sly trilogy)
GOOD:
18. Vicious Voodoo (it's good, the platforming is very good and I like the swelling music, I just never cared for the swampy esthetic, still fun to play)
19. Rumble Down Under (some parts are quite fun, good missions, but it's easily the least interesting looking (also most ugly looking) episode in the trilogy in my opinion)
What do you think? It's worth noting that I think Sly 2 is the best and an absolute masterpiece. I appreciate how they nailed the stealth aspect in that game, just absolutely nailed it.
Also, keep in mind that this list changes constantly for me, so don't take it too seriously, there is not bad Sly episode.
