Where to skate in bangalore
Hey so ive learnt the basics of skating. How to roll and balance and change directions by tilting. Im trying to learn a few other basic tricks but all of this has been in my basement. I dont know where to go out to skate because every road in my neighbourhood is dug up or its not smooth enough to skate. I know there are a few rollerblade skating rinks or parks nearby but only for rollerblades so I highly doubt skatesboards will be appropriate there or even permitted . I would like guidance on where to pick up skating in the outdoors since my basement is quite small and i cant roll beyond a point. I can only learn tricks at best but i absolutely cannot skate around
Kindly let me know where to skate in a place like bangalore, preferably in and around banashankri area.
P.S I know cubbon park has classes during the weekends but i also want to find a place to skate during the weekdays on my own, not just with a community. And cubbon park is quite far from where i live so i cant travel every weekend.
Total beginner
I am a total beginner, never even stepped on a skateboard before 😅 Always wanted to learn but never really got the time. I’m in my late 20s now and finally thinking of starting.
I searched a lot in this subreddit and fixated on the Piso skateboard, but it’s out of stock right now. Should I wait for it to come back or are there any better beginner-friendly suggestions?
Also any tips for a complete beginner on how not to fall badly while learning? Since I’m based in Bangalore, I’m planning to practice around Cubbon Park.
Would appreciate any advice 🙏
I want to learn skateboarding. I'm totally a beginner. Pune guys, help!
I'm a total beginner and I'd like some company to learn this skill. I'm based in Pune. Also, I need suggestions for a skateboard and a place to practice.
Why is my board not staying under me? Also what should I change about my flicking motion? Should the flick purely come from the ankle or is there also a kicking motion involved?
I was advised to roll my ankle inwards and flick but I can't seem to do it while attempting a kickflip.
Any advice helps.
Only this wheel makes the noise where others are fine , i tried oiling it and it stopped making noise, but when i ride it it isnt moving well as it is moving before.
Give me any solutions🥹
Heres how my road near my area looks
Use-
Tricks on tiles and maybe ts road after i get better+ cruising on ts road and tiles
Theres a place near me with a lot of smooth surface
So heres what i think my options are-
A skate supply india cruiser board
A complete piston board+ 83a wheels + riser+ t tool
A complete piston board+ 78a wheels + riser+ t tool
As u can guess the cruiser board is cheaper , and the other 2 are expensive
2 k diff bw cruiser and the other 2 setups
Previous experience - 4yr ago i got cheap jaspo skateboard just 6in wide and rlly thick wood, weird rubber wheels
Could do 1-2 absolute beginner tricks and cruising
Only on tiles tho
Cuz it sucked straight ass on road
