Hi! When transacting in carousell app, what do you think was the major identifier na scam ang isang account? Got scammed twice by trying to buy apple pencil with a decent and common price (i know na pag its too low, its a scam). They seem legit but scam pala :(( pls lmk if u have tips

I talked with a guy on discord and I wanted to know if this trade could be a possible scam. I had about 130 dollars worth of skins (1 knife and other skins), he told me that he could give me 180 dollars worth of balance in dmarket. I submited my skins to dmarket (official website dmarket.com) he told me that once the skins were trade unnlocked he would buy them there. He told me he is going to use them on buff later (thats how he makes money of it). My skins were tradedd with the offical dmarket bot. Is there any kind of way he could scam me like that? He told me it would be a win win for the both of us, but it just seems too good to be true. I just want to know if Im ok (or if I should trade reverse it). All of this was made in a call with him. If you could tell me I would appreciate it.
Also, the skins are officially on my inventory on the website, but he his waiting for them to not be trade ban to buy them

Don’t trust “Ultimate Mobile Solution” fb page he got me too out of $151.00 he was supposed to refund me my money back today like promised but didn’t because he couldn’t unlock my two iPhone and won’t respond to my messages or look at them and his Facebook profile page link is https://www.facebook.com/share/1JiRMrtHpq/?mibextid=wwXIfr spam is comment and call him a scammer and his inbox spam his inbox call him a scammer etc.

My uncle shared an incident last week where his mother's friend (in her mid-70s) was very close to becoming a victim of a scam. Someone claiming to be from her bank contacted her and told her that her account had been compromised and guided her on how to transfer money to a 'safe' account. He warned her to keep this transaction private 'for security.'

She was at the bank when her daughter called, and after saying, "Mom, that's a scam. Hang up," she did exactly that. The fake 'bank' called her back four times in twenty minutes.

She isn't gullible. A bright lady who raised three children. The scammers were just quicker. Her daughter's call prevented her from losing her savings.

My mother is sixty-eight years old and spends most of her time on her cell phone. i need to educate her about this types of scam so we can avoid it

Has such an incident occurred in your family? we need to be educated of types of scam so we can have full vesion of this types to protect our self and our parents

I fell for it- Refills.com is a scam! Just had to cancel my cc. This may be known knowledge already, but it’s a warning, I’ve been reading all the boards, did some research- thought it would be ok, but it’s not! The chat with Taylor, scam! If you don’t believe call the phone # on the site and leave a message, see if the call you back-send an email to try and verify. All a scam!

The site is real enough, but they do a “bait and switch” where you think you’re getting a high quality, and expensive item, but it’s cheap $.99 store garbage. I just threw away $70 on a pair of shoes that claimed to be all these beneficial things for bunions, Morton’s Neuroma, etc. I’ve bough better shoes at Walmart for a third of the price. Also, they claim to have an easy refund/exchange process. Nope. They’re trying to give me 15% off to just keep them. That’s a measley $11. And everything on their site is listed in USD. In their emails, their provide pounds and EU shoes sizes. Don’t be fooled like me. The return address is China. Super annoyed. I’ve been trying to vet these damn shite sites for a while and thought I did on this one. Nope.
