I built an app that locks Instagram until I do push-ups — need 12 closed-beta testers

doom-scrolling 3+ hours a day so I built ScrollLock: when you open Instagram /TikTok / YouTube, the app pops up and makes you do push-ups before it unlocks. Camera counts reps on-device (no video uploaded anywhere). Each rep earns minutes of screen time.

Currently in closed beta on Google Play — I have spots for ~12 testers

To join: DM me (or comment) the Google email you use on your Android phone. I'll add you to the tester list and you'll get a Play Store link within an hour. Takes ~5 min to install.

All I ask: use it for 3 days and tell me what's broken or annoying.

My uncle shared an incident last week where his mother's friend (in her mid-70s) was very close to becoming a victim of a scam. Someone claiming to be from her bank contacted her and told her that her account had been compromised and guided her on how to transfer money to a 'safe' account. He warned her to keep this transaction private 'for security.'

She was at the bank when her daughter called, and after saying, "Mom, that's a scam. Hang up," she did exactly that. The fake 'bank' called her back four times in twenty minutes.

She isn't gullible. A bright lady who raised three children. The scammers were just quicker. Her daughter's call prevented her from losing her savings.

My mother is sixty-eight years old and spends most of her time on her cell phone. i need to educate her about this types of scam so we can avoid it

Has such an incident occurred in your family? we need to be educated of types of scam so we can have full vesion of this types to protect our self and our parents
