We’re looking for a respectful, clean, and chill roommate to move into the third bedroom of our 3bd/2ba house in the heart of Midtown/Boulevard Park. The room is private, with a shared bathroom and your own separate living room space—perfect for a little extra privacy. More pictures can be shared privately of the space, its a really lovely space.

✨ Details:

$1030/month (includes water, sewage, garbage)

Utilities (SMUD, PG&E, Internet) split evenly

$1030 deposit

Month-to-month lease, but ideally seeking someone long-term

Move-in date: May 16th

No pets

🏡 About the space:

Washer/dryer in unit

On-street parking

Located in a super walkable area with tons of cute shops, bars, and restaurants nearby

👯‍♀️ About us:

We’re two women in our 20s, both working professionals. We’re pretty quiet, respectful of space, and tend to keep to ourselves during the week.

If this sounds like a good fit, shoot me a message and tell us a little about yourself! We’d love to set up a time to do a walkthrough and send over the application.

This is definitely wishful thinking, but I am moving to Sacramento in September with my husband and we would like to live in midtown - we both have to have cars for work (shift work at rotating sites some of which are in the suburbs), is there any apartment building in midtown that doesn't charge $250 per car for parking? Thank you!

Hey guys, I started working in downtown Sacramento and I am getting really tired of the commute. I don’t know too many people out here so I am looking for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment. I want to live in or near midtown for a reasonable rate. I can do somewhere around $1600-$1800 total a month. Does anyone know if there are any apartments deals going on right now?

Hi all, I applied to a rental with Peak Residential last week and got word I was approved today. The thing is, I have now researched this company and found a lot of people consider them to be "a dumpster fire". I think I will regret this, but the place I toured is one of a kind, really affordable and clean. I am so tempted, but IDK. Seems like most of their bad reviews are related to the application process, but we immediately noticed how rude the front desk was and we had a hell of a time getting ahold of anyone.

Let me know your thoughts, we are planning on touring some more places this week, so there are other fish in the sea.

Edit: sent me a link to schedule a 15 min phone call for today, but there's no slots until the 12th? Also requesting I hand over deposit and first months rent by Friday before I can see or sign the lease. Big yikes, leaning towards dropping these dudes.

Hi I need a place to live,

I am a 17 year old turning 18 in August when I will be a sophomore and I need an off campus home as I will be attending CSU.

I noticed most places here are overpriced and or bad. The ones that get recommended by schools are the dumb Pay 1000 to share a room with 4 others and the ones that seem reasonable priced always have bad reviews or are in a bad area, so what is the best place and or do you know of anyone?

I am a 17 year old male, I have a tiny Shih Tzu and I am willing to pay 1111 max

Please can someone help me when the time comes with a place to stay temporarily, I'm a good tenant I always keep to myself, I'm clean and tidy I don't make messes (caregiver keeps my area clean) I don't bother people and keep to myself with my cat. I'm super stressed and worried I just want to make sure I have something set up that can work once grandpa starts to go downhill health wise so I don't become homeless with my cat while waiting to get into an apartment (I'm on the waiting list for deerview park apartments and Placerville apartments)

Hi,

I decided to go to another university and am looking for people to take over our leases. The two rooms are on separate lease agreements. My roommate and I are willing to cover half the initial deposit for each room ($300). The rooms are spacious enough to house multiple people each. I've listed the details of each individual lease below.

LEASE TERM: 9/1/26 - 8/30/27

LOCATION: Adobe at Evergreen Apartments (Tandem Properties) - 1500 Shasta Drive, Davis

BUS LINE: P/Q + on a bike path

WHAT'S AVAILABLE: One private room with private bathroom. Room comes with personal mini fridge, microwave, and privacy door lock, and you'd be on your own Individual Lease.

WHAT IS INCLUDED: Free Xfinity Wifi & City Utilities are free

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: One-time parking permit fee & PG&E

RENTAL RATE: $1470

VIRTUAL TOUR: https://discover.matterport.com/space/XzYrKX2gxaW

*This is a tour of an upstairs unit which has carpet instead of tile. Our unit is downstairs

This would be the floor plan:

Need recommendations for newer apartments in Sac

I work at UC Davis medical center and would like to live closer to work with guaranteed parking, in unit laundry, and absolutely no pest issues. Ideally a 2bd 1bath (or 2 bath) for around $2500 a month.

EITHER room for rent in 2bdrm in Midtown near Sutter’s Fort! Smaller room $925/larger room $1,065!

Hello! My name is Kiana and I am a 31 year old working full time night shifts here in Sacramento! My absolutely lovely bestie and roommate is sadly moving out so I need to find her replacement, ideally to move in on June 1st! Lease is MONTH TO MONTH. You can rent EITHER the smaller room I am currently in for $925/month or the larger room with a walk in closet & direct access to backyard area for $1,065/month! I’ll either stay in the room I am currently in or move to the bigger room! Utilities are Xfinity, PGE and SMUD. The apartment is a charming unit in a great part of Midtown near Sutter’s Fort! I am currently slowly working on redecorating the place but these are the best pics that I currently have as a work in progress, some of these items will be replaced! Barring current photos of the larger room as my friend is working on gathering her things to move out, I have attached photos of both rooms taken previously (smaller room is 1st photo, larger room 2nd photo)

We have a full kitchen, fireplace and our own backyard area. Shared bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no laundry in the building as it’s older, but the laundromat is literally just a couple blocks away. NO PETS, landlords rules:( If you’re respectful of a shared space, friendly and a woman, I would love to chat and see if it would be a good fit! I usually schedule a video call or even in person showing of the apartment as a next step. Thanks!!

high risk pregnancy looking for immediate housing

Hey everyone , I am typically not one to go online sharing my issues . Let alone ask for help , but due to my situation. I feel as if I have no choice. I am currently 35 weeks and two days pregnant , I have been having a high risk pregnancy since my placenta is weak. And not giving proper nutrients to my baby. I have been homeless , and sleeping inside my vehicle . With no air conditioning. I have been told I may need to induce my labor sooner than expected. I don’t have much any support . I currently get income through the department of human assistance , but I am having trouble finding a place that will accept me. As I have no rental history and a lack of credit . That currently remains at 0. My insurance approved me to be helped with the move in deposit . But due to section 8 being closed and many waitlist being long . It is difficult to navigate housing. If anyone has any advice or any suggestions on where I can apply for immediate housing . It would really mean so much. Thank you for hearing me out. And I hope to get some proper guidance, as I am a first time mom with practically no family . Since my parents had passed as a child.

Looking for new room rental

I'm a mid 30s female with an indoor cat. I don't make a lot right now and I rely on the bus to get around primarily which severely limits my options for jobs and housing. A place in natomas or midtown would work best for me at this time.

I've been paying $1000 consistently for about six months (rent+utilities) so I know I can provide that. Of course if I could pay a little less that would be a bonus.

I mostly keep to myself but I'd be open to becoming friends. I enjoy painting, cooking, baking, video games, and ttrpgs. My boyfriend currently visits me once a week, but we are both generally pretty quiet and respectful. We just have a bit of an alternative lifestyle. I enjoy a good drink and I'm fine with smokers as long as they do it outside

I'm pretty good at cleaning up after myself in communal spaces and I'll be happy to help out more when I have the time and energy. I'd be down to cook some household meals sometimes and find other ways to contribute if appreciated. I have a lot of little skills and knowledge that can come in handy.

SCAM on Zillow Today in Midtown - 231 22nd St

Today, a listing was posted for 231 22nd St in Midtown. This is not a legitimate listing for rent. Don't pay their $350 holding fee. They will disappear.

I "toured" this property. The house is really for sale, but someone got their hands on the door code.

So they posted it on Zillow and they collect a ton of "holding deposits" and disappear. That's the scam. Pretty common. I saw like 3 people go in after me and warned them.
