Second RFE after almost two years

Help please!! I have a pending I485 (SIJS/EB4) case and I just received a second RFE request. The question is that I already sent a RFE back in July 2024, 3 days later they put my case as pending. The RFE was for my medicals and I responded within the timeframe, everything good, even my lawyer said the next step would be the approval. Anyway, I received this request today and I am panicking about what it could possibly be. Anyone has any idea??? I did move out of state recently with my boyfriend but I did let my lawyer know and he handled that. I am freaking out PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

Deferred Action Granted!

My SIJ deferred action was granted on May 6, 2026 and I got the notice in the mail today. I did my biometrics on May 4, so it only took about a week after that.

My I-360 was approved about a year ago, then I got an automatic biometrics appointment, completed it, and USCIS sent the deferred action right after.

Really grateful for this step. Thanks to USCIS for giving law abiding folks a chance to work hard and build a better future. Now onto applying for my work permit.

Can deferred action still be filed after may?

So i have heard all kinda news from people but i what i have seen and read on the verified immigration forums that 10 may is not the deadline for G-325A it was actually the deadline for filing I-360 to be considered. Like i have heard people from april to june are getting their biometrics appointments automatically but like my 360 was approved august 2025 so what should i do right now, shall i file the deferred action myself with g325 or wait for USCIS to automatically consider me?

Biometrics question

Hey everyone, my case i360 approval was on may 30 25. I have seen people here talking about getting biometrics for their deferred action from approvals dating late april. I just wanna is anyone from mid or late may got their biometrics notice.

My Case Was Approved today ( Im 21 btw ), Is it worth filing G-325 at this time? I currently hold a legal status valid through late 2027, which includes work authorization andn at least for now the option for further renewals. Given how quickly regulations can change, would filing now be a safer strategic move?

Hello, brothers and sisters. My lawyer said that once Deferred Action under SIJS is approved, the initial application for a work permit takes between 2 to 6 months to be approved—and that renewals are the ones that take longer. Is this true?

Hi everyone. I’m from California and I’ve been waiting for my SIJS approval for 195 days. Today, my status finally changed to "Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent."

I don't have the physical letter yet (no 'Documents' tab in my portal), but I strongly suspect it’s because my Predicate Order from the state court is pretty "boilerplate" (mostly checkboxes without a detailed factual basis).

Has anyone here dealt with an RFIE for a "empty" or "boilerplate" court order? How did you solve it? My lawyer has my original 2-page declaration with all the details of abuse and neglect that we used in state court — is sending that usually enough to satisfy USCIS?

I’m really worried that this might lead to a denial. Any success stories after an RFIE would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone, for those who submitted Form G-325A for SIJ deferred action, what does your receipt number start with? Is it IOE, or something else?

I’m trying to understand what is normal for G-325A receipts. Thanks!
