I found a listing on facebook marketplace for the Omni Terminator (alloy version) new in box, still sealed. I talked the seller down to $140 but I'm second guessing if its a good enough deal to get over the carbon version. Everywhere I see people talking about the OT they are saying to get the carbon, is it that much better that I shouldn't get the alloy for a good deal?

I am wondering how much difference the speed pinion makes?
I’m not so curious about the raw speed I mean like air control stress on the drivetrain etc

I didn't even break 70kmh... I am using the provided 3s 35c 2200mah lipo battery and I am using the provided speed pinion .
The controller has buttons that do nothing , SWB , SWA , CH6 do absolutely nothing .
I have the carbon version . Feels a bit disappointing...
New shell painted with Tamiya PS47 iridescent pink/gold, backed with deep purple and metallic black. Trim pieces painted chrome. A few things left to do before it gets mounted.
Hi guys just bought a 1/10 blue case for my terminator, any ideas how to set the endpoints?
Have the steering J rate at 50 and it’s about right but I was wondering if I could have it set at 100 and make the endpoints perfect?
Or should I just run it with 50% steering rate?
I stripped the pinion gear grub screw while trying to fit the bigger pinion on the motor took it to my local hobby shop and saw the guy struggled to drill. The grub screw out is my last resort Dremmel. With a diamond cutter tool is this a common problem for Rlaarlo rcs ?
So a couple months ago I decided to replace center diff oil on my OT Carbon with heavy, 100K weight oil.
In the process I forgot to remove motor mount before prying out the center drive shaft, which put a ton of pressure on chassis and god knows what else.
Afterwards it had a lot more torque, wheelied a lot, but I had also installed speed pinion gear and Hobby Park 120mm tires.
Then it started grinding.
I found the pinion and spur gears had separated, re-meshed them, but problem re-occurred.
I realized the center drive shaft was bent so replaced that, but problem continued.
Found the threaded holes in top of motor mount were stripped, so replaced mount, yet problem continued.
Then tonite noticed right rear dog bone was wobbly, replaced that, and just a while ago grinding re-occurred after less than 5 minutes driving.
Was going to swap out center diff from my OT Alloy (it was $120 practically new, I had to) but now I’m seeing it doesn’t look like the Carbon center diff.
Should I buy a new center diff? Outcups?
I’ve replaced so much stuff on this thing.
Fwiw I spun up motor by itself and saw zero distortion on pinion at full throttle, so I don’t think that’s the problem.
Also Carbon is second pic with larger pinion gear.
What tires can anyone recommend for light off-road bashing? I’d like to save the pin tires for smooth surfaces.
Any way to adjust the braking on the omni terminator? It brakes way to hard and ending up front flipping
can anyone tell me how to replace the heat sink on the omni terminator? I don’t see any screws and the fan broke. I had to order the heat sink and the fan together.
Hi guys. I just got the OT Carbon version last week, and after several runs throughout the week, I noticed that the shocks do not seem to bounce back properly when the car is dropped. Also, when I push the front or rear of the car down, it stays low and does not bounce back up.
Is this normal? If not, could you guys give me some advice on how to rectify the issue?

If the build quality is on par as the Terminator, the DSK should be a fun build and good backup for the Tekno EB48.

Has there been any update on these new releases from rlaarlo? I’ve been looking for more information about when they will release or if any YouTuber has gotten them to review but haven’t found anything have they said anything officially yet about them?
Looks like we are getting more new releases from Rlaarlo. damn these two new look great. The first one is a 1/10 drift car and the second one is a 1/8 monster truck that looks like the love child of a Omni Terminator and an XRT from Traxxas. Between these two new releases and And the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and Porsche 962 I am excited for the future of rlaarlo.
Any ideas if one of these are the right thing to upgrade to a 1/10 standard size servo?
