every time i open recroom it kicks me out after i get in my dorm room. what does this mean?
i.redd.itwelp since rec rooms gonna die I guess Im gonna say this
I wanted to smash the coach really, really, really bad.
A recroom iceberg from 2020 scarily predicted the end of recroom (it’s on this subreddit)
what are you guys gonna do after June 1st?
reddit.comIs it just me, or did they bring back the gold notes headphones in the store?
Considering that Rec Room is shutting down very soon. Rec Room has made every first-party item in-store 80% off. And they brought back limited-time items to be available for the remainder of Rec Room’s lifetime. And the gold notes headphones is one of them. Is this true? Did they actually bring back the gold notes headphones on purpose? I thought they said that the gold notes headphones was meant as a limited-time item from 2019.
I turned my 300sqft studio into a Hybrid Gaming/Productivity Hub. Small space, zero compromises. 🎮✨
As a gaming space designer, I’m constantly told that "studio apartments can't have a pro setup." I took that as a challenge. I’ve just finished this Hybrid Gaming Room layout that balances a high-performance e-sports atmosphere with everyday productivity and hobby displays (yes, including the guitar and the bike gear). The Design Philosophy: • Zoning: Using vertical grids for skateboards and helmets to save floor space. • Lighting: Integrated RGB LED strips to create depth in a narrow room. • The "Hybrid" Factor: A motorized standing desk that transitions from a deep-work station to a 4K gaming rig. I’m really curious—how are you guys handling cable management in small studio rentals where you can’t drill into the walls? I used a mix of pegboards and magnetic trays here. Full design breakdown and gear list for this build: https://www.vividgaming.shop/blogs/small-gaming-room-setup/the-ultimate-studio-apartment-hybrid-gaming-hobbies-and-productivity What’s the one "essential" piece of gear you refused to get rid of when moving into a smaller space? For me, it was the cat's throne and the guitar. Let’s see your small-space workarounds!
Thank you devs
It breaks my heart to see the game shutting down, years and years ago when I first started playing I was going through hell in my real life, not to mention on top of that i couldn't communicate for nothing. I just wanted to give a sincere thank you to the devs from the vet bottom of my heart, recroom saved me. I know it sounds sad but it gave me an escape nothing else could, and supporting friends it gave me something to look forward to every day when life was just too rough to go on any longer I was severely depressed and the victim of bullying and false rumors. And had tried to take my own life multiple times because of it but because I found such a wonderful group on recroom in saved my life and I can say with certainty I'm here today because of recroom, thank you so much for saving my life and teaching me so much about socializing. So much love to the devs or to whom it may concern - A grateful gamer.
The closer it gets to June the harder it's hitting me.
I don't want Rec Room to close. I've spent almost 10 years playing this game and the majority of those years I played it in VR with all the amazing people that I met on the game. I'm still friends with some of those people and we've literally went through the last 10 years together knowing each other.
We didn't play as much as we used to of course but we always got on from time to time just to reminisce and hang out and now we're never going to be able to do that again.
My dorm room is full of Polaroids of me and my friends throughout the years and all those pictures are just going to be gone now. All of the places we spent time together will be gone and as time goes on our memories will slowly start to fade and we won't really remember what it looked like anymore.
It's hard to deal with and it's hard to cope. I just feel like I'm losing a big part of my life.
I was so excited for their 10-year anniversary this year and I can't believe that's the big surprise we're getting for 10 years is that it's shutting down. It just breaks my heart. I really wish something could happen where they won't close. :(
Call me corny or whatnot but I don't think I'll ever let this place go. 😭
reddit.comWhat was the first platform you played RR on?
I started on ps4 screen mode since I saw some videos about rec room and it looked fun so I tried it out and I’m glad I did.
My store still selling Rec Room gift cards
Hi! I have been a long time fan of Rec Room and I am sad to hear about it shutting down. I work at a Lowes location and we still have the Rec Room cards on display for sale. According to Rec.net, all gifts cards will no longer be sold after March 31st and all distributors were asked to pull them.
I checked with my managers and we havent received any word from anywhere in regards to the cards. I dont want any little kids or people who are unaware to but the cards and waste their money. Im pretty sure our distributor is BlackHawk and my manager said since he had no word from them, there is nothing we can do. Do you think it would be appropriate to contact Rec Room staff or something? I guarantee you that if this lowes didn't get anything, other locations didn't either.
Can you help locate these worlds? My family wants to try them before it's too late.
Hi guys, my family saw these worlds briefly showed up in the RecRoom's farewell video, and we haven't been to any of them.
Could you be able to help us find the names of these worlds, so that we could try them before it's too late?
Thank you so much!
I got forcefully logged out from my account
I can't log in I've tried resetting my password multiple times and it says accounting error and I know my account isn't banned so what do I do I want to download my creation data before everything goes dark
Our bucket list before it shuts down
Hi guys, my family and I have so many things on our bucket list before RR shuts down.
For example, we tried a hundred times, (we got really close one time) but we could never beat golden trophy, jumbotron and other quest games. We are not really hardcore gamers. And the games are designed to kick you back to the beginning once all the players are killed, which could be very frustrating for very casual gamers. So what would you suggest us to try in order for us to finally see the big ending just for once?
Also, games like back stage have lots of variants. Could you recommend some must-try?
My family really enjoy puzzle solving and quest, not really into horror games. Our favorite is the reel adventure. Do you have any other recommendations for us?
Thank you so much!
is my model good or should i go to design class or art class or whatever
just wondering
