The more you defend him, the more hatred he'll get.

I understand at some level, that fans of a certain franchise should not behave in such a way towards the captain of that franchise mid-season.

But i also understand why this is happening at an even better level xD.

Because, no player, had these many blind followers backing him for no definitive reason(stats or records).

Backing to such an extent that, when last season some neutral RR fans wanted to question his capabilities as a batsman and as a captain and as an overall team player. They got the same amount of hatred from the same fans that are now wanting no reaction.

The same fans who are now asking the community to not be so reactionary. Made me delete my post last year. And directly went on to question the legitimacy of my liking towards RR. I don't want to get into that.

But the amount of hate then is equal to the amount of hate now. Why is it happening? Because what goes around comes around.

I am not saying that he can't hit a decent six, but because of this blind fandom and backing and the kind of a person he is, All this together, I don't know why, but it makes me feel like it has gone into his head.

The way he reacts after hitting a six (uske pehle ek dot uske baad 3 dot) is like he has won all format world cups and knows that he's the best.

I don't see any humility in him or his fans.

But now his fans want humility from those they abused and hated.

Fucking irony at its best xD

And if the fans that are reacting now, don't react and he goes on to you know have 2-3 decent or good innings, the same fans who are asking the community to not be so reactionary will start posting real aggressive posts for Pan Parag and against the ones who are hating on him now.

And most importantly if they don't react now they fear that even if we go on to win this season they(the ones who are hating) still will be afraid that now RR management has another reason to back this nepo kid.

No matter what you say, his stats show that he should not have been the captain but he is, for me his stats are so bad that he should not have been retained let alone captaincy.

But he was made the captain, the home ground had to shift, so many controversies, so much negativity.

Why? Obviously the only thing that the fans can do is post their opinion about all these things. Some feel that if they had voiced these opinions in the last season maybe, they would not have to go through all this... this season. Some think that if they don't voice their opinions now, then maybe they have to go through all this again in the next year.

So basically if a player who's captaincy itself was given to him because of his fandom, should also be HELD responsible for his actions. You canNOT expect him to not be questioned or hated. Because his fandom is so aggressive that he got the captaincy now he has to take all the hate as well from the neutral RR fans.

Worried about Vaibhav suryavanshi

He has been consistently performing in Games , but his seniors has gifted him with middle order collapse , I think already he has nobody to rely on except jaiswal and jurel . Already we saw an change in his batting intent in the last game , was it because of disbelief in hir seniors or due to his previous inings i don't know. But if the team keeps faltering like this it would seriously affect his morale . Hope he stays strong and retain his natural game .

Let's please stop this rift.

Since the last game, the entire community has been divided into 2. Some are still with parag and keeping hope in him, others are proudly claiming themselves to be his haters. This is not the time to just give up on our skipper and spread hate on him. Im also very pissed off with riyan, but it's his first year as full time captain. I've seen parag, he knows how to handle online pressure. You don't need to act like you have full faith in him, just try to not spread hate on him. We must win this huge contest vs lsg away now.

I still can't understand this

It's been 2 years still i am having troubling i understanding how some sane person prefer retaining hetmyer and let go of our best player ever(maybe after warne and watson) in jos buttler....retaining parag and jurel at that time made sense but idk why hetmyer was retained it becomes very hard for me to name any instance where hetmyer single handlely made us won a match, at all times he was in supporting role at best and buttler even in his worst form in 2024 was winning some matches on his own...and before you say hetmyer is finisher i would still prefer buttler as a finisher over hetmyer any day

player bought last year has more emotions while someone we have been backing for 8 years has no problems making aura farming egoistic decisions

To all "I back the captain" mfs

I have seen that Parag backers are back in action after remaining silent for a day. If you are still backing this subpar mediocre batsmen who has 1 (one!) season over four hundred runs in nearly a decade of IPL then my friend you are either insane or huffing some A grade quality copium. He ain't that good and y'all will still keep backing him even when the season ends with us eventually not even qualifying for the playoffs anyway because I guess y'all are just that dumb.

Let alone Captaincy, how does he qualify as a player

An uncapped or not regular squad player if given Captaincy should have good track record or attitude or show potential. I see only arrogance in him

Abysmal Form: He's averaging ~12.20 (61 runs in 6 matches). It's hard to respect the captain when he isn't leading by example with the bat.

“Main Character" Shot Selection: Kris Srikkanth absolutely roasted him for throwing his wicket away against RCB. Critics feel he’s prioritizing looking stylish over actually playing the situation responsibly.

Ego-Driven Tactics: His on-field decisions are raising eyebrows. Case in point: opting to bowl himself against SRH and KKR while completely ignoring a veteran weapon like Jadeja. Looks more like stubbornness than strategy.

can this gora worshipping stop in India already? if an Indian vlogger follows some american or british sport like this will their official page make a whole video for them like this? will they get a backstage access?

theyre calling Indians subhuman and dehumanizing Indians and youre still worshipping these people?

they literally laugh at videos of Indians dying, weather its some train accident or plane crash. and youre still worshipping them? can this end already? why is a civilization that is thousands of years old worshipping whites who made it out of their little island just few hundred years ago?

can Indians grow a spine?

Ashwin's take on Jadeja quote not being completed.

Why do some have perception that left hand batter will definitely give their wicket to right hand off spinners , any day a experienced and in form bowler is better than a right match up.

200% this is gonna happen. But what will RR do?

Next year MI is gonna do everything and quote a huge sum of money to Poach Jaiswal in an all cash trade. There is no denying that.

Now What will RR management do? Will they agree to the deal money as its a total profit in balance sheet. Since Parag is promoted as captain forever, Jaiswal himself want to leave RR if such opportunities come with huge money. Also Sooryavanshi is the icon now for marketing.

Will RR fold like GT upon seeing some 100cr or 200cr?

Will jaiswal be upset and leave RR because of parag and for money ofcourse?

Market value of Jaiswal is equal or even more than that of hardik pandya now after two years. (Inflation). So we can expect a huge sum.

Parag displayed peak selfishness today..

Everything was going so well AND YOU CHOSE TO DENY JADEJA A 4TH OVER? Like, Jadeja literally took 2 wickets and conceded runs at an economy UNDER 3, and he wouldve also got Rinku out if not for that Jurel/Donnovan blunder. He literally was our best bowler today and RIYAN FUCKING DECIDED TO BOWL AN OVER HIMSELF??

RIYAN PARAG DID SO JUST SO HE COULD HAVE A SHOT AT MAKING AN IMPACT IN THIS MATCH, his piss poor batting form is playing with his mind bruv and he wants to contribute at the EXPENSE OF THE TEAM'S WIN. Like imagine not letting your best bowler of the day bowl an entire fucking over just cuz you want to get a wicket (which you dont end up getting). I hate this guy officially from today on.
